March 2nd, the first REAL day of camp.

Paintbrush laid soundly in their bed, their breathing slow and steady. Despite the uncomfortableness of the mattress they laid on, they slept quite well, only waking up a few times to use the bathroom. The feeling of being in a new place felt a sense of comfort to them. Their chest rose and fell slowly until—

"wakey wakey!" Lightbulb shouted, shaking them aggressively.

"GAH! L-Lightbulb?!" They shouted, waking up immediately from their slumber, a confused and dazed look on their face. "It's time to wake up, silly!" She snickered, pulling them out of bed. Paintbrush restrained against her, stumbling out of bed.

"We have a buncha stuff to do today! wouldn't it be cool if we got in the same camp group?" Lightbulb smiled. It took Paintbrush a moment to register what she had said, Their eyes glanced over her and noticed how she was fully dressed already.

Paintbrush rubbed their eyes and looked outside, noticing it was still a bit dark out. "Lightbulb, what time is it?" They grumbled, glaring at her.

"Uh... five a.m..?" She smiled nervously. Paintbrush inhaled and tried taking deep breaths to calm themselves. "Lightbulb, have you ever stopped to think THAT PEOPLE WOULDN'T EVEN BE AWAKE FOR ACTIVITIES?!" They yelled.

A loud grumble came from next door, and a small tap erupted from the other side. "some people are trying to sleep!" A voice yelled.

This made Paintbrush even more aggravated, they closed their eyes and attempted more breathing exercises. "Now Lightbulb, if you'll excuse me, i'll be going back to bed!"

Lightbulb almost let out a whine as she quickly grabbed Paintbrush's wrist. Paintbrush let out a wince and yanked their arm away, "Don't do that!" they hissed. Lightbulb's face had a mixed look of confusion, worry, and embarrassment. "Sorry.." she mumbled, "I'll wake you up before camp starts." Paintbrush let out a relieved sigh, crawling back to bed and shutting their eyes.

What felt like minutes later, Paintbrush was awoken yet again by Lightbulb. They let out a loud groan and pulled a pillow over their head. "Come on, wake up! I let you sleep in!!!" she nagged, shaking them awake slightly.

Paintbrush had to fight the urge to smack Lightbulb away from them. They sat up and massaged their temple.

"Alright, now get dressed buckaroo! We have a long day ahead of us!" Lightbulb announced, grabbing paintbrush and yanking them out of bed. Paintbrush yelped and almost fell on Lightbulb, scowling at her before grabbing their clothes and walking into the bathroom to change.

...

Before either of them knew it, they were waiting at a picnic table for the camp groups to be assigned to them. A tall man walked on the field and tapped a megaphone, causing a loud ringing sound to echo through the camp, multiple people groaning and covering their ears.

"Attention campers, it's time to meet up with your groups! group one is.." The man continued, flipping through a clipboard crowded with papers. "Fan, Silver Spoon, Test tube..."

"it has to be me next!" Lightbulb whisper-yelled.

"Paintbrush and Lightbulb!" Paintbrush groaned. Just great! first they had to come to some type of.. rehab behavior camp thingy- and now they had a group with Lightbulb.

Lightbulb dragged a grumpy Paintbrush to a group of people, of from what they could assume was their group. Fan and Lightbulb high-fived once they got in range of each other. "This is sick! How lucky is it that we got in a group together?!" Fan squealed, his free arm wrapped around Test tube's.
