I yawned, "Last braid?" I asked Ken. She nodded. "Thank god I was soooo ready to take these braids out." I whined, scratching my head.
"We know, I'm surprised you've kept them in this long." She laughed, I laughed along with her as I blinked slowly. "I just know I'm ready for Thursday." I said. Scrolling on TikTok.
"You tired, hm?" She asked, I nodded. "You ready to put this lace on?" She asked, pulling the last bit of hair softly from my head. I nodded cheesing. "My comfort hairstyle." I said.
"Girlllll." She laughed, grabbing a comb and starting to part my head. Growing up something my grandma told me was braiding your hair dirty instead of a wash and braid was more effective for growth.
Obviously if you're doing a braid style, wash that mf scalp, but for something that's gonna be covered, I leave it dirty.
"Ready?" She asked, "Born." I replied. "Face ass." She said making us both start laughing.
