"Yes ma'am, have a safe and blessed day at work." Philip said while opening the door for Loretta.
Jelissa rolled her eyes for the millionth time, crossing her arms underneath her chest. For the past twenty-five minutes, Jelissa remain quiet and hasn't touched her fries at all since she was still upset at her mother and this liar which those two obviously did not care for Jelissa's frowny face and continued on their conversation like she was invisible.
She seriously did not see the purpose of meeting her mother at the diner when all Loretta did was talk to Philip like he's a saint and never once asks how does she feel nor even apologize for this setup meeting. But she'll feel better later after meeting up with Jay-Jay soon.
"I'm telling honey, this man here is a keeper." Loretta said after he closed her door. "Now you two be safe and I'll see you when I get home sugar foot." She said, turning on her Lexus ignitions and started backing up from the parking spot and drove off.
As Philip clears his throat, Jelissa started walking away to get away from the phony.

"No and stop calling me Lulu." She said angrily walking until Philip caught up to her and blocks her way.
"I don't care what my mother says, you and I are done and we'll never be friends. I did want to talk to you about last night but after this stunt you pulled again. I am so over it and I am over you and I appreciate if you stay the heck out of my life forever." She spat, trying to walk passed him but he keeps blocking her way.
"Please, just give me a chance to explain" he said as he gently grabs her hand but she roughly yanks it back.
"And don't you ever touch me either or else this time, I will report you for harassment!" She yelled, not caring if she's making a scene.
"Look, I am sorry that I went behind your back and talked to Miss Loretta again, but you left me no choice. All I wanted was to apologize and asks for forgiveness and to have you realized how much you mean everything to m-"
"What part of I am done do you not understand?" She cut him off, turning around but he stood in front of her, blocking again.
"I'm sorry Jelissa for causing this much trouble on you. But if you just given me a chance to explain or let me love you, than I wouldn't have brought your mother into this." He explained, being a victim and Jelissa looks at him like he has gone insane.
