"throw your gun away" i said, she slowly unholstered her sidearm, unloaded it and tossed it to the side, he holstered his revolver

"ritsuko tells me you have a mission, why don't we help each other" she said
"my mission has become much more complicated since you showed up katsuragi, and i trust your people about as much as i can throw them, without external help" i said, she flinched
"i know that we betrayed you shinji" misato said
"no misato that is only part of my problem, my problem with you is, you used me then threw me away when i wasn't useful to you anymore, then came back when i suddenly had a use again, that is my problem" i said, she flinched again

"what do you call imprisoning a fourteen year old who made a mistake, because he was not mentally stable enough to fight, let alone fight a much stronger enemy then he was, and imprisoning him within the thing he despises more then anything else in goddamned existence" i asked my voice rising until i was shouting, i inhaled sharply, as i forcibly calmed myself down
"well katsuragi, i'm waiting what do you call that, my problem with you katsuragi is you did exactly what my father did, but at least my father never claimed he cared about me" i said, before turning on my heel
"wait, please" misato said
"what misato, what can you possibly offer me" i asked
"control" she said, i turned to her

"this is your base these are your resources, we will follow your lead, you will have complete control, and since the only government here, you are already against you don't have to worry about anyone turning against you" misato said
"and why should i trust you" i asked
"because, i will let you hold all the cards" she said, i looked at her confused then she pulled out a collar and put it around her own neck
"DSS choker, it's designed to explode in one of two scenarios" she said, before tossing me a fob
"that will detonate this choker" she said
"you are insane katsuragi" i said
"i will be honest with you shinji, we came here to force you back with us so you could tell us where unit-01 was, learning what you told ritsuko shook me, and it shook me hard and seeing a glimpse of the data ritsuko managed to collect from your computers, we need you and you don't need us i know that, but while you don't need us, we could still be useful to you" she said
"detonate your evangelions, both of them that is your first order, then i want you to report to the hanger bay one, the computer will give you instructions, i will meet you there" i said, she nodded before returning to the wunder, ritsuko was shocked to see misato wearing the DSS choker
"wasn't that for shinji" ritsuko asked
"it still is, just in a different way, this will prove to shinji we are on the same side, his side, i have given him full control of our resources, in otherwards he has full access to our manpower, and our engineers and scientists are at his disposal, we will kill three birds with one stone this way, we can complete our mission of stopping gendo, complete shinji's mission here, and eliminate whatever unit-01 has become, and we paint a way to a better future with the tools we create with shinji and his resources" misato said
"i hope it's worth risking your life over" ritsuko said
