'I am in love with a fairytale,
Even though it hurts'

'Kya soch rahi hain aap, Mrs Kartik Goenka?' Kartik said as he passed a cup of their favourite adrak wali chai and a bowl containing matar ki kachoris as they looked out through the window and enjoyed the rainy atmosphere.

'Yahin ki Akshu- Aaru kab tak aayenge, jaanti hu baarish ki wajah se bus late ho gayi hain' Naira said and Kartik shook his head. Sometimes it felt like Akshara had inherited some of her anxiety traits from her mother.

'Chote thori na hai dono, Akshara is 10 and Aarohi is 9. Badi ho gayi hain, humari betiyaan' Kartik said as his head rested on Naira's shoulder and they smiled.

'Pata hain aaj Akshu ki cupboard ki safai kar rahi thi, toh mujhe ye mila' Naira took out a small pocket diary from the pocket of her kurti. Kartik, being both curious and confused opened the first page of it.

There was a drawing of a girl, dressed in a white with silver border gown. There was a guy standing at her left, and there was written in bold letters - 'Mera Prince Charming' and to her right was an another girl wearing the same gown as her but it had pinkish borders and above her it was written - 'Meri behen, Aaru'

Kartik, chuckled while Naira smiled.

'Dekha humari Akshu kitna pyaar karti hai apni behen se usne apni love story mei bhi apni behen ko main role diya hain' Naira said as she lovingly looked at the drawing.

'Wait par ye kya hain?' Kartik noticed two odd things. The first thing was, a red string connected to Aarohi's hand in the drawing. Both Kartik and Naira, being confused pulled the string, and it turned out to be that Aarohi was holding the thread which was connecting Akshara to her Prince Charming, but the same thread was also slicing Akshara's throat in the drawing.

'Ye...Akshu ne aisa kyu banaya?' Naira, panicked as she held the thread close to her heart.

'Bacchi hain, Naira. TV pe dekha hoga, itna darr kyu jaati ho' Kartik took the drawing from her hands, and calmed his wife's hyper heart.

The another strange thing, which Kartik kept hidden was that both Akshara and Aarohi had white gowns. White symbolising love and purity, while Akshara had drawn her Prince Charming in dark clothes. Dark colours. Mostly Black. And his eyes were red, as if they were spitting blood. Still, he had a calming smile as his hand was entangled with Akshara's.

Was it an indication? Was it simply Akshara's imagination?

This time, Kartik's heart raced in its speed too. Because, a father cannot imagine any sense of danger on his daughters.

'Kartik! Kya huaa?' Naira, who was busy scrolling her cell looked at her husband who was sweating in this rainy cold atmosphere.

'Kuch nahi, bas yun hi. Akshu - Aaru ki aane ki tension, you know'

That was when both the parents, heard bus's honk at the entrance. Naira ran to see and receive her daughters. While drops of light rain, which had fallen on Prince Charming's eyes made his eyes look more scarier.

Kartik, wiped his sweaty face and threw the pocket diary in a dustbin praying that none of his assumptions become true.
