Arohi asks him hesitantly, "What sort of surprise?!"
He walks closer to her and stands behind her. He slowly whispers in her ear, "I'm going to give you the taste of your own medicine.The taste of betrayal!!"
Arohi looks at him shocked, "What?!Betrayal?!What are you trying to say?!"
Kabir sits down on the chair and takes a few breathes, "My innocent babydoll, you don't know anything, right?!"
Arohi nods at him. Kabir slams the armrest angrily, "Stop your pretence, Ms. Arohi Sharma!!I know your truth. I know your betrayal!!"
He stands up and walks around her, "I had heard your and that Raj's conversation!!I know what's going on between you two!!"
A few hours before
Kabir plants a kiss on her cheek and rushes for work. Arohi took the book that Kabir gave her yesterday and begins to read it.She walks while reading the book which was in her hand, "We sometimes encounter people, even perfect strangers, who begin to interest us at first sight, somehow suddenly, all at once, before a word has been spoken."
She was disturbed by a phone call. She keeps her book down and picks up the call, "Hello!!"
"Arohi, it's me, Raj!!We need to talk immediately!!Meet me at City park!!"
He didn't give Arohi time to make a decision and cuts the call abruptly. Arohi looks at the book, "I know I had been doing a crime. I don't want to even think about punishment. Today, I'll end my business with Raj. After this, I won't even meet Raj for anything. Our mission is over."
She goes to the City Park but forgets to take her phone.She saw Raj standing near a rose hedge and walks towards him. Raj greets her, "Hey there!!I know we can't talk for a long time. So, I'll get into the matter right now. Kabir found out that I'm a police officer. He was after me all this while.I didn't find any evidence from his warehouse. It was all toys and nothing related to drugs. I wanted to find evidence against him ASAP!!Please do something, Arohi!!"
Arohi looks at him shocked, "No way!!I am not going to help you anymore. I am fed up of this Police and thief game. I can't do this, Raj. It's true I had helped you till now. When I ran away from Kabir that day, I ran straight towards you. You told me everything about Kabir that day, his deals, his illegal work and his whole history. I had acted to lose my memory about that event in front of Kabir. Our marriage was purely beneficial for your mission. I stayed close to him just to observe his movements and expose him.I told you about his every single movement. I had even told you about his secret consignment at Juhu warehouse. And what were you saying? He was with me that entire night. He didn't even know anything about you. What are you talking about drugs? He doesn't do drug business. He is one of those diamond smugglers. I think he hid those diamonds in that toys. He is a true mastermind and he does unexpected things. I had been with you for all this time but"
Suddenly,Raj hugged her and she stands there shocked. Kabir was watching all this angrily. He feels betrayed and he walks towards his car furiously. It's truly said that half truth hurts more than the real truth. He came just when she confessed about their mission and he left when he saw both of them hugging.
Arohi pushes him away, "Don't you dare to touch me again like this!!What were you saying?!Show him the taste of lust, right?!In that process, I fell in love with him. The love in which I can't think or see anything else than Kabir. The moment when I show him the taste of lust, my eyes turned into devotion for him. I can't do your thing. I respect you because you stand for the truth but my love for him is greater than anything."
Raj looks at her shocked because he never expected Arohi to change like this, "Is your love greater than goodness and truth?!Is your love greater than your self respect?!I challenge you, prove that your love can change the monster within him."
Arohi proudly looks at him, "Challenge accepted!!I'll change him for good!!"
She walks away but Raj stopped her by his voice, "Due to his love, don't forget about your values and goodness. Don't turn into someone like him!!"
