It was early in the morning and everyone was fast asleep in Chauhan Mansion. The doorbell was continuously ringing and Kabir's Grandma stomped angrily towards the main door cursing the person who had broken her beauty sleep. Vikram rushed there due to the continuous disturbing sound of doorbell.
Grandma opened the door and stands shocked, "Kabir?!!But why? I mean..How?"
She faints and Vikram holds her just in time. Vikram looks and was also shocked to see Kabir there, "Boss?? But what happened? You got married? That too with her?? How did this happen?That too in overnight??"
Kabir holds his newly wedded wife's hand and nods at her to walk inside. At that time, Grandma quickly regains her consciousness and screamed, "STOP!!No one will enter this house??!!"
Vikram, Kabir and the girl looked at grandma with shock. Grandma goes to the kitchen and brings a plate filled with vermillion water, a small rice pot and a veneration plate with help of a few servants. (Seems like Kappu's grandma is a drama queen. Obviously, she is the only woman in Kappu's life. She has every right to throw tantrums. And yeah, now Kabir's wife also got that right.)
She walks towards Kabir happily, "What do you think? I'll allow the daughter-in-law of this house to enter without giving her a proper welcome."
Kabir looks at her, "My drama Queen!!These things aren't necessary... "
Grandma walks towards his wife with the veneration plate and stares at Kabir,"Shut up you brat!!I had spoiled you a lot and that's why You married her without informing your grandma?? And now talking big big things?"
She performed the rituals and smiles at the girl, "Now kick the rice pot and make a grand entry to Chauhan Mansion. Let your presence brings prosperity in this house.Welcome to home, my dear."
The girl nods and kicks the rice pot with her right leg. She placed her feet on the vermillion plate and walks inside the house with Kabir. Her red footprints were visible on the floor of Chauhan Mansion's entrance. One of the servant brings a plate of red paint and grandma asked her to place her hands in it. The girl places her hands in it and pressed her palms on the wall which grandma showed her. Her palm prints were visible under palm prints of another women. Obviously, that could be of Kabir's mother.The servant gives her a towel and the girl wipes off the red color from her hands.
Grandmother looks at them, "Now the traditional rituals are over, I think you two are responsible to give some explanations to me."
Kabir comes close to her and hugs, "Girlfriend, What sort of explanations? It's true what your eyes are seeing. She is my wife, Mrs. Kabir Chauhan."
Grandma shakes him off, "Seriously!!I know you, Kabir more than anyone else. When did you started believing in marriage?"
Kabir puts his arm over his wife's shoulder and brings her closer to him, "You're right, grandma. Love can make anyone to change. I realized my love for her. So I married her. She is the love of my love. I love her deeply. "
Grandma looks at him confused, "You want me to believe that. Do you think I am a fool to believe that you fall in love with her overnight and got married at that moment?I don't want to hear lies, Kappu. I will ask your wife. Atleast she would be honest, wouldn't she? Will you care to explain this drama, Mrs. Arohi Kabir Chauhan??"
Arohi looks at grandma and smiles, "What Kabir said is true, grandma. We are really married."
Grandma crosses her hands and looks at Arohi with a raised eyebrow,"Because of love"
Arohi nods. Vikram looks at her, "Wait a minute, how did you guys married overnight? What happened?How did you guys get married at this time?"
