It had barely been a few days when All For One called the Aoyama family and the plan to fight against the villains was put into motion. Yukiko hadn't left Aoyama's side, much to his relief, and the two had gone over their plan to continue the charade of his loyalty to the number one villain of the world. These past few days had felt like a blur to the two students as they were briefed with the plans and where they would be when everything began. The plan was that Yukiko and Midoriya, along with a few others, would go off to fight with Shigaraki, while the others were divided to defeat the other villains that would be sectioned off.
The next morning, Aoyama and Yukiko made their way to the roof of one of the large business buildings near the center of the city and called for Midoriya. Already aware of the plan, Midoriya had been nearby acting as if he were on patrol and immediately rendezvoused with them.
"Thank you for coming." Aoyama spoke with a small smile as he turned to face the green haired boy.
"Yukiko? Aoyama, aren't you supposed to be restrained? What's going on?" Deku questioned as he took a few steps forward.
"My parents' lawyer got me out." The blonde boy explained briefly.
"That's great! We have to tell everyone so that we can start our search!" Deku grinned as he turned away from the two.
"Wait! I actually wanted to talk to you, and Yukiko too. That's why I asked you two to meet with me here." Aoyama smiled.
"I have been curious about why you wanted to talk here, rather than at the station." Yukiko sighed as she crossed her arms across her chest while taking a look at their surroundings.
"Yeah, it's funny, isn't it? To think that the judicial system still exists, even in this broken society. The world is changing, so trying to cling onto the old ways is futile." The boy's eyes glazed over.
"Aoyama? What's going on?" Deku asked with a frown as he glanced passed the blonde and towards the girl, who gave a small shrug in response.
"I'm going to tell you what All For One's true goal is. Now that Japan has fallen, do you know what's going on around the world? Japanese yen has decreased majorly in value, and nearly all of the overseas Japanese businesses have had to file for bankruptcy. The social instability has emboldened villain activity, and now that movement has spread across every nation. If anything, the world has reverted back to how it was when quirks first started appearing. The economy is crashing, unemployment and chaos is spreading." Aoyama began to explain.
"Wait, what are you trying to say?" The green haired boy gasped.
"If all the nations around the world no longer can maintain their stability, their financial and security will continue to decrease. They'll have no other choice but to turn their backs on Japan, so that they can focus on their own survival. If the world were to be plunged into decay and chaos, it would only take one man with all of those quirks to seize control. That man would become the Demon Lord of this world. If even one of those things were to disappear, the power balance will crumble down and the other nations will have to accept whatever happens." The blonde boy continued.
"That's ridiculous! There is no way that the world would let any of that happen! Plus, we are still here!" Deku stated as sweat began to drip from his face.
"I suppose so, but that is why, this is my final bet." Aoyama smiled painfully as he turned slightly, so that he could see both Deku and Yukiko.
"Aoyama? What did you do?" Yukiko frowned as her wings slowly started to form on her back.
"I'm sorry, but in the end, I really do just want to make sure that my Maman and Papan are safe." Tears began to stream down his face as All For One suddenly appeared behind them.
