Robyn: "...Heh heh, you shoulda seen the look on Joanna's face. I don't think she'd ever lost a fight before that. At least, not fair and square". As she finished her story, Robyn looked around at her fellow prisoners, hoping for some sort of reaction. Jacques was busy battling a random fly that had somehow managed to find its way into his cell, while Qrow remained sitting in the same position, still staring at the charm in his hand.
Robyn sighed and got to her feet for a stretch, "Tough crowd tonight. Guess Ironwood should've paid for better cellblock entertainment". At that, Qrow let out a low chuckle. But it was just enough for Robyn's keen ears to pick up on, and she turned to him trimphantly.
Robyn: "And he smiles! Did I win?"
Qrow: "Hey it's your game. I don't make the rules"
Robyn: "I'm sorry. For what happened...". Her gaze was fixed on the object in Qrow's hand, a sad expression on her face, "...It wasn't your fault"
Qrow: "It was though. I made a deal with the darkness, and he paid the price. It was all happening so fast...but Clover wouldn't let up...Could've worked together against Tyrian if Clover just..." He let out a dejected sigh, before turning towards Robyn, "But the thing that really stings? For the first time in a while, I thought, maybe...maybe I could be around somebody, anybody, without my semblance making it...complicated. And now...it just feels like a childish dream. Gone. Like everybody else"
Robyn: "Believe it or not...I know a little of what that's like." Her eyes darkened at the memory, and she placed a hand on the cell barrier sadly, "When people are worried you're going to sniff out their secrets, they tend to push you away. It makes a real connection...difficult..."
Qrow: "I..." The sudden hiss of the doorway opening interrupted the conversation, as two soldiers walked into the room with Watts between them, before shoving him roughly back into his cell. And then, another figure walked inside, rather slowly; or at least, slower than she's used to. She stopped in front of Qrow's cell, and glanced down at the object in his hands with a frown.
Harriet: "You don't get to keep that". Qrow met her frown with one of his, "I didn't kill him". Harriet scoffed, "You keep saying that, but it was your weapon covered in his blood". Shaking her head slightly, she added, "You all are just the same". As Qrow let out a resigned sigh, Robyn spoke up.
Robyn: "If you really wanna know what happened, mohawk, why not open this cell and take my hand?". Harriet scoffed as she shuffled over to face Robyn instead, "If I open this cell, it won't be to shake hands".
Robyn raised an amused brow, "What's with the awkward walk? And the leg jewelery?". At that, Harriet then glanced down shortly at her right leg. Or, rather, the device which was currently surrounding it.
It was an exoskeleton of sorts, clamped down around most of the length of the leg; from her thighs down to her feet. Sleek lines on the body of the device glowed in the dark with blue light, humming ever so slightly with the energy that powered it. It was especially bulky around her knee, for the purpose of keeping her previously displaced joints in check. But, even with this device, to be able to walk around this soon after the incident occured, would require great effort. Not to mention, the ability to endure intense pain. But the only evidence of anything from Harriet was the slightly uncomfortable way she walked, as she slowly got used to the device.
Harriet: "Kai Blaze did this to me" At the mention of Kai, Qrow's ears perked up.
Qrow: "You tried to arrest him. He resisted. So you pushed him, he lost control, and you got hurt. That sound about right?" Harriet scoffed and turned to glare at him, "Right, because things would be so much more convenient if we could just blame others for our actions, is that it?"
