"ARRRRRRRGHH!!"

The sounds of Oscar's screams filled the entire room, as a red stream of flames poured steadily onto his chest. Salem raised a hand, and Isaak stopped his assault, the red flames flickering out. She walked towards Oscar, shaking her head slightly, "Lies come out of you so easily". She reached out a hand to cup the terrified boy's face, "Like-minded souls indeed". She then let out a sigh and walked away.

Salem: "One of you is going to tell me what you know. I don't much care if it is you, or Ozma. Either way, I'll finally have the relic". Desperate, Oscar looked over again at the boy who was once his friend.

Oscar: "Kai, snap out of it! Whatever hold she has on you, you're stronger than that! You have to fight it!". Isaak simply stared back at Oscar, a blank expression on his face. Then, he sighed.

Isaak: "I can't listen to any more of this crap"

Salem: "You won't have to. I have bigger plans for you" She snapped her fingers, and the door slid open, revealing Oscar's new interrogator.

Oscar: "Hazel? Wait..." The bulky man marched forward without a word, giving only as much as a sideways glance at Isaak. Oscar's pleas were interrupted as Hazel slammed a large heavy fist into his torso. The hound dropped Oscar at the same time, and the boy tumbled to the floor, gasping loudly after having had the wind knocked out of him.

Salem: "Well, let's leave them to it, shall we?" And with that, she, her son, and her pet, walked out of the room, leaving the farm boy to his fate.

Salem: "How is he?" The sounds of their footsteps echoed slightly as they walked down the dimly lit hallway.

Isaak: "He's not awake. Not yet"

Salem: "It's a shame we can't keep him like that permanently"

Isaak: "Even if he wakes he can't cause much trouble now. I'll be sure to handle it". Salem's lips curled into a smile, "That's my boy". Up ahead, two figures came into view. Cinder, and Neopolitan. As they got closer, Cinder went down on one knee in greeting.

Cinder: "Your Grace, I..." her words trailed off as her eyes landed on the boy standing before her, "...Kai? What is he doing here?". Isaak stepped forward as Cinder got back on her feet.

Isaak: "My name is Isaak. You'd do well to remember that, maiden". Cinder looked over at Salem, slightly alarmed, "Your Grace, what exactly is going on?" Salem simply smiled, "I solved the problem of Kai Blaze, and retrieved my son. Isn't that what you wanted, Cinder?"

Cinder: "I...right...of course, Your Grace. It was just...an unexpected development". Isaak scoffed.

Isaak: "You don't really think everyone is as incompetent as you, right?" Cinder frowned, and took a menacing step forward, "You don't kno..."

Salem: "Cinder" At Salem's stern tone, Cinder halted her movements completely as Salem spoke, "A little reminder, that as my son, Isaak, your prince, will be treated with respect. Is that clear?" Cinder's eyes went from Salem to Isaak in disbelief, before she bowed her head to hide her expression, going down on one knee again.

Cinder: "I apologize for my outburst...my...Prince". Isaak stared down at Cinder for a few seconds, and then suddenly, his leg whipped out quickly, striking Cinder on the side of her face, and sending her tumbling to the ground.

Salem: "By the way, did you need something, Cinder?". Cinder slowly got to her feet again, fists clenched tightly, a controlled expression on her face to mask her anger as she shrugged off the attack, "Yes, I...I want to search for the Winter maiden, I think..."
