The Saviour

~Last time:
She tried to run but her whole body froze with fear .Her eyes were fixed on the car and her legs trembled .
'I'm dead today' she thought.~

Just then ,someone pulled her as hard as possible .They both fell as the water splashed from the car onto them .

"Crap !That son of a ..."Luna muttered ,still keeping herself in control .
She gasped as soon as she got her senses back.

She noticed herself sitting on the footpath with someone .That too in between his legs .

Luna turned to see him and a sense of déja vu hit her .Her eyes again met those hazel ones .

"Luna !"Ash said clearly not expecting it to be her .

Luna was just not able to catch her breath .She stood up and frowned as he stood up too ,not knowing what to say .

"How can you be so stupidly careless ?!What had happened to your legs ?Why didn't you run !?"Ash shouted with a really worried look crossing his face .

"Don't yell at me !I'm sorry !"she starts tearing up and immediately hugs him ."Thankyou . Thankyou Ash!"

Ash blushed hard and went blank .He felt his cheeks getting hot ,feeling blood rush through his veins and his heart thumping so loud he was damn sure she could hear it .
He fell for her

He smiled and said,"Don't cry .I'm here with you. You're okay and ..I won't yell at you"

Luna pulled off from him and wiped her tears ."You got wet because of me .You should change your clothes or you'll catch a cold" she said with a rather embarrassed smile .

Ash chuckled,"I won't but you might "

They both go and stand outside the library .

Ash handed her the purse he picked and said ,"Bet you want it Luna "

Dawn smiled as she took the purse ,"Oh yes I do want the purse that nearly took my life "

They both stood there, fully soaked ,waiting for the rain to stop .

Ash was there adoring for how cute she was .'Crap !what am I even thinking ?This is not the type of person you are Ash .And since when did I start to adress myself in third person ?I am definitely high on something "he thought as he teared his gaze away.

"It does feel nice though ,being alive" Luna said breaking the silence as she looked at him ."Life ..it is really precious ...even though it's quite sad sometimes "

Ash agreed .He felt as if she was hiding something behind her smile ,"Why do you say so ?What is the sadness in your life ?"

Luna didn't really want to tell everyone that her mother was crappy ."Just some things you know .Leave it .I will give you a treat someday ."

"Rain has stopped .Time for us to go home Lunz "Ash said in the most happy tone to be possible for him.

'Lunz ? that's a weird nickname .' Luna thought as she nodded at him ."Thanks again Ash (chuckles) Bye bye !" She said with a really genuine smile .

"Bye Luna "Ash replied ,lost in her dazzling smile .

Luna was cycling her way home ,thinking what would happen when she reaches home .

Lost in thoughts ,she was startled by a car running across the road .Luna lost her balance and fell off the cycle .

She got some scratches on her arm and a small wound on her knee .She looked up to see Paul holding the cat in his arms .

"Are you okay ?"he said ,offering a hand .

"Do I look like I am okay ?"she said angrily as she got up herself .

Paul felt quite insulted that she straight up declined his hand but he didn't really care .

As he looked at her as she dusted her clothes ,the cat jumped out of his arms towards Luna .

Luna immediately stepped back and exclaimed ,"Paul ,take her away!"

Paul was quite surprised by her reaction .After all,it was just a cute little cat .

He took her back and said ,"I'm ...sorry " .His voice was barely above a whisper but still clear enough to understand.

Luna didn't really expect the so called 'cold-blooded' Paul to apologise.She realised her reaction,"Oh no ...you don't have to say sorry ...Actually I shouldn't have reacted that way ...it's just that ,I don't really like cats .That much ."

She looks up at him as the awkward silence between them rises ,"What's her name though ?"

"Moon" ,he replied giving a small smile as he looked at the cute grey kitten .

Luna chuckled to hear that their names were similar .She stared at Moon's pretty eyes .But what she didn't realise was that Paul was staring at her as if he was curious about something.

She couldn't bear the intense staring anymore and asked ,"What's ... wrong ?"

'Will I look stupid if I ask her name now ?Wait ,why do I even care ?' he thought ."What's you name ?Full name ?" He finally asked .

Luna didn't understand why he wanted to know her full name but replied anyway ,"Luna Lucaryo .Your cat's name matches mine " she said smiling .

"It's not my cat " he said as he turned away ,going back .

Luna felt weird .She couldn't help but wonder ,'Why didn't he ask if I wanted a band aid ? Does he not have one ?Well anyways I don't use band aids .Where is he going ? He's dressed lavishly and he looks damn rich .But is he a weirdo ?Naming random cats he sees on the road ?But the cat didn't seem afraid of him .Crap .I have to get home '
