Starlingtrill's kits have been named. Please welcome Batkit, Inkkit and Corvidkit! The father of the kits has been revealed to be the late Flowerthorn.

Rushfur's patrol detects a strange scent on the borders and, tracking it down, they see a bunch of otters running away, looking scared. They dove into the water and swam away safely.

Beestripe then recalls something odd that he saw and that Wingwater told him about a while ago. Beestripe was hunting on his own when he heard a loud roar and went over to investigate. He saw a large cat, presumably a lion from what he heard from the stories, being wrangled by a bunch of colorful yet sad Twolegs being bossed around by a red pelt Twoleg drinking from something and seemed wobbly in his steps. Beestripe ran away from the scene.

Hawkstar said that he'll decide what to do with Whisperpaw sometime this moon as there is also another investigation going on with Wingwater's death. Bramblesnow also said that until something is decided, Whisperpaw's medicine cat name ceremony will be delayed. If it ever happens, Whisperpaw thinks to herself.

Clues to Wingwater's murder:

-Also a young cat

-Used a little bit more force to kill him

-Shouldn't be too hard to solve

-Speckledfeather's testimony to being around Wingwater during the flood but left to save Rushfur. Rushfur confirms this and Speckledfeather didn't see Wingwater until they all saw him tumble down the cliff

-Scratches on Wingwater's neck

-Wrong place, Wrong time

Bramblesnow suspects that both cases are connected in a way but she doesn't explain how.

Speckledfeather has been made into the new temporary deputy and can now use the /discuss with (*previous deputy*) command

Juniperkit notices how distant his father seems to be and notices how close his mother tries not to cry over the question that Frogkit had asked about when Bubblekit is coming back.
