_Melo's POV_
I walked into school, feeling confident with my new glasses. As I approached my locker, I spotted Amanhle and Liyanda chatting nearby.
Amanhle's eyes widened. "OMG, Melo! Your new specs are EVERYTHING!"
Liyema squealed, bouncing up and down. "Yaaas, girl, you look stunning!"
I blushed, laughing at their enthusiasm. "Guys, calm down!"
Amanhle grabbed my arm, examining the frames. "These are so cute! Where did you get them?"
Liyema chimed in, "And how did your mom react? Did she love them?"
I grinned, sharing stories about my doctor's appointment and McDonald's trip with my mom.
The three of us chatted excitedly, drawing attention from nearby students.
Just then, Ntsika walked by, flashing me a warm smile. "Hey, Melo! Love the new specs!"
Amanhle and Liyanda turned to him, their eyes sparkling mischievously.
Amanhle teased, "Ntsika's got a crush, Melo!"
Liyanda playfully chimed in, "Yeah, he can't stop smiling at you!"
I rolled my eyes, laughing. "Girls, stop!"
Ntsika chuckled, shaking his head. "I'll catch you later, Melo."
As he walked away, Amanhle and Liyema bombarded me with questions.
"Spill the tea, Melo! What's going on with Ntsika?"
"Are you two officially a thing?"
I grinned, enjoying the attention. "No tea to spill, girls. We're just friends... for now."
Amanhle winked. "We'll get the scoop out of you eventually!"
Liyanda giggled. "Mark my words, Melo and Ntsika will be the cutest couple soon!"
....
As Ntsika walked away, his friends Thabo, Bafana, Sipho, and Kagiso approached us so he came back with themThabo, the charmer, flashed a smile. "Hey, ladies! What's all the excitement about?"
Bafana, the jokester, chimed in, "Yeah, are you guys planning a party or something?"
Amanhle playfully rolled her eyes. "No party, Bafana. Just admiring Melo's new specs."
Sipho, the brainiac, nodded. "Nice frames, Melo. Where did you get them?"
Kagiso grinned, his eyes sparkling with excitement. "I love Melo's new specs! They suit her so well."
Liyanda nodded in agreement. "Totally! Melo, you look stunning."
Amanhle teased, "Kagiso's got a crush on Melo's glasses."
Kagiso playfully rolled his eyes. "Shut up, Amanhle."
The group laughed, and the conversation flowed easily.
Liyema grinned mischievously. "And Ntsika's got a crush on Melo."
Thabo raised an eyebrow. "Really? Ntsika, is this true?"
Ntsika chuckled, shaking his head. "Guys, stop teasing."
'Y'all know that can never happen mocc we are just friends nje' , I said that chuckling
'We'll just see ke Melostar', Amanhle said mischievously wiggling her eyebrows
