(A/N: Well, hello there everyone :) long time no see. Please forgive that my writing style is a bit different now, I felt like adding a bit to this very incomplete story. I'm slowly but surely going through the chapters and UPDATINGGGG yayyyyy!! Who woulda thought. I hope that it makes more sense and isn't so cringe for you guys. I nearly ripped my hair out rereading through it so - I will say, I'm not sure how this story will end yet. I really want to do another big sad ending but I feel like I'd get my ass beat if I did that tbh.

Anyways, enjoy! And don't forget to reread the old chapters as I update them, some things will end up very different! <3

The next morning, the old, dingy cabin was practically buzzing with life. Well... at least Jeff and I's life, I don't think the other 2 count as alive.

I ended up being woken by BEN slamming a door shut and EJ yelling about something. Jeff popped his head in no more than 15 seconds after I opened by eyes, checking on me.

"Good morning, beautiful." He practically purred, plopping down beside me and smoothing my hair. I gave him a tired smile, still trying to fully wake up.

"I would offer you breakfast, but EJ cooked and you definitely don't want to eat whatever he's got." He raised an eyebrow for a moment, watching me as I stood and stretched, his eyes wandering.

"Why? What's wrong with his cooking?" I questioned, a yawn leaving me. Jeff sucked in a breath, seeming nervous to answer.

"Well, I'm sure you've noticed Jackie boy is kinda like BEN, not exactly human." He danced around the question, cushioning whatever blow was about to hit. I nodded, suspicious but encouraging him to continue.

"He eats people, (N/N)." Jeff sighed. I made a disgusted face, sighing and shaking my head.

Of course he fucking does. We can't have any normal friends, can we?

I guess it makes sense we don't, considering who Jeff is.

"Okay." I sighed again, closing my eyes for a moment.

"Okay? That's it? No horrified questions or existential crises?" Jeff raised a brow, obviously wondering what the hell happened to the girl who was too freaked out to even watch him kill a pedophile.

"Well what the hell else am I supposed to say? Not like my discomfort will change his diet. I don't even know the guy, I'm not gonna tell him he can't eat in his own house." I threw my hands up with a shrug, walking over to our discarded bags to find a change of clothes.

Jeff went quiet, deciding my thoughts on it made enough sense. He was probably just thankful I didn't lose my mind about it.

"So you don't want breakfast then.. right?" He asked, eyeing me as I ripped off my shirt to change, not bothering to act shy at this point. We're technically engaged, after all.

"No, I'm okay." I laughed a bit, glancing over to him. He didn't even bother looking up until I slid the fresh shirt on, and even then it was a mere glance to my eyes.

"If you're gonna drool all over the sheets at least have the decency to put a towel down." I rolled my eyes playfully, teasing him a bit.

"If I put a towel down we're doing more than drooling, (N/N)." He held my eye contact now, voice going low. Challenging.

I blinked and swallowed, suddenly feeling the room was far too hot and stuffy.

"Okay - down, boy." I muttered with a small laugh. I made my way over to him, his hands immediately finding my hips as he gazed up at me from his spot on the bed.
