Recess had ended like any other day, without much excitement for Jin, who was already used to the monotony of his free hours. He sighed, looking around, until he saw his target: the new teacher, JungKook, walking down the hallway. He smiled with his usual mischievousness. Chaos followed him wherever he went, and that man, so serene and controlled, was not going to be the exception.
"You just ruined the perfect recess for me," Jin commented mockingly, approaching the teacher. JungKook gave him a sidelong glance, with a mixture of resignation and annoyance in his expression, his deep voice letting out a word with a slight sigh.
"Brat," The comment only elicited a chuckle from Jin, who enjoyed unhinging his teacher, delighting in every gesture of frustration he managed to wring out of him.
"Hello," he replied with a chuckle, watching JungKook's frown grow even more furrowed.
The teacher had no intention of getting into an argument, much less with a boy like Jin. He turned around and started walking towards the teacher's lounge, determined to ignore that persistent annoyance. But Jin, far from giving up, followed him without hesitation.
From the corner of his eye, JungKook could see how the young man continued behind him, like a shadow. He tried to concentrate, to put out of his mind the irritating whistling that Jin had started to make. He knew he was doing it on purpose, that he was trying to get on his nerves, and he was succeeding.
Finally, he stopped abruptly, turning to face him.
"Stop doing that," he spat, his face hardening. Jin, not bothering to hide his amusement, mimicked his tone of voice.
"Stop doing that," he repeated, exaggerating every word. JungKook sighed, holding back his growing frustration. He pointed his finger at the young man, trying to remain calm
"I'm not for your games, Jin,". The blond raised an eyebrow, tilting his head slightly as he muttered in a tone low enough for his teacher to barely hear.
"¿What other things if for?,". JungKook, pretending not to have heard, continued on his way. But Jin, as always, did not stop, following him like a predator after its prey.
The master was trying to control himself, biting his tongue so as not to let out a curse. However, just as he was about to turn the corner, he noticed that Jin had stopped. The young man was watching something in the corridor to his right, his expression of mockery and amusement disappeared, giving way to a restrained fury that made his dark eyes become even more intense.
Jin clenched his fists so tightly that his knuckles turned white. JungKook followed his gaze and understood the reason: in the locker hallway, a student from the soccer team had another boy cornered, who was trembling with fea
"Lick the homework or I'll break your face," the jock, shoving the boy against the lockers.
Before JungKook could intervene, Jin was already advancing toward them, his every step charged with dangerous determination.
"¿What if I break it to you," Jin said in a firm voice, without hesitation. The soccer player had no time to react before Jin's fist smashed into his face with surprising force. The blow sent him to the ground, pushing him several meters away from his victim. The bullied boy, frozen with shock, stared at Jin as if he couldn't believe what had just happened. "Get the hell out of here before I beat you up too," Jin threatened, not taking his eyes off the boy on the ground. His tone, though feigned, was filled with just enough menace to make the boy run away without hesitation.
The jock, barely recovering from the blow, staggered to his feet, his face now filled with hatred and humiliation.
"¡Damn you Jin! ¡I'll kill you!," he shouted, lunging towards the blond with blind fury. Jin just smiled, enjoying the adrenaline rush of the moment.
