Steffy found Hope daydreaming when she stopped by her office to check on her designs, "Daydreaming again? I hope it's not about Finn?"
But Hope wasn't listening as she continued to fantasize about Nick Newman.
"Hope, are you listening to me?" Steffy asked again more loudly waking Hope from her reverie.
"What? Oh, I'm sorry Steffy, I was lost in thought!" Hope lied.

"Yeah, must have been some daydream?" Steffy accused. "Tell me, are you fantasizing about my husband again?"
"What? No! I told you I promised I wouldn't cross that line again!" Hope looked hurt, but she didn't want to tell Steffy about her meeting the handsome Nick Newman from Genoa City.
"Oh, then who's man are you going after this time?"
Hope just smiled as she thought of Nick Newman. It seemed Hope couldn't get her mind off Nick after meeting him. She couldn't wait to pick up Beth at Nick's suite after work.
"Anyway, Hope I was just checking on your designs for the fashion show coming up."
"Oh, right, I'll get Zende to send you the designs he's working on." Hope said.
"Very well, then," Steffy said as she left Hope to her work, or fantasizing again. Steffy wished she was inside Hope's head. She really wanted to know if Hope had gotten Finn out of her system.
Hope left Zende the email instructing him to give Steffy the designs they were working on for the fashion show, and then decided to leave work early. What did it matter anyway? She wasn't getting anything done fantasizing about Nick.
So she headed for Nick's suite to pick up Beth but ended up making a dinner date with Nick instead.
