I wake up at the sound of my alarm going off at 6:15am, dragging myself out of bed to try to get ready for school.
"Hey Kaylee, I think your friends are here to pick you up" i heard my mom yell from downstairs "oh coming!" i yelled back finishing putting on my mascara. i run downstairs and say goodbye to my mom. when i walk out i see all too familiar faces of my best friends. Ethan, Benny, and Ethan's babysitter, Sarah. she's driving.
"Hey Kay you ready to get going?" sarah asked me
"yeah sorry that kinda took awhile" i said putting my bag in the back, in between me and Benny. she turned on the radio and we made our way to school the dread already setting in, i hated school. i didn't fit in with anyone, before i met my friends freshmen year i was nobody. sometimes i don't even feel like i fit in with them, there's something they all are keeping from me, i can feel it. The whispering anytime i would ask about it, or the strange sudden need to leave in the middle of a movie, then come back looking all beat up. i didn't understand it but i did not want to loose them.
"what are we going after school today" i asked the 3 they looked around at each other
"i don't really know, wanna just hang at my house?" Ethan answered everyone nodded their head and hopped out the car and we walked in together to school. i only have one class with benny before lunch, and no one else. after lunch however, i had every class with someone. so i said my goodbyes and made my way through school.

Around passing period, the hour before lunch, i ran into benny and ethan standing in the hall, ethan was hyping him up to go do something when i came out behind ethan.
"what are you and benny doing..." i asked
"oh he wants to go talk to Bella" he pointed and i looked over to see her crying and benny turning around to us, giving up the thumbs up.
"it didn't look like its going to well..." i say.
benny starts walking back over to us, a bright smile laid out on his face.
"Awesome news, Bella's dog died."
