They arrived at the castle, the building stood out with elegance, the air smelt nice and cool. The sun shone bright, a sharp contrast to the world where she  came coming from. This was the place Theresa was talking about. There was peace and serenity unlike where she came from. The was war and pain, fear etched on the faces of the people, low food availability and this place looks like it had never met a harsh weather. This made my blood boil, anger once again filled her.
"Where is the king" she said over my shoulder to the handsome man

"He's currently..um." he stammered

"Take me to him" she said, she needs a word and maybe a bullet through his skull. Her mind subconsciously drifted to her brother and anger filled her once more
"Take me to him!"
"Yes mam" he said and lead the way and she followed hot on his trail

He lead her through a spiral of stairs and sharp turns, She had no intentions to get used to the surroundings as all she wanted was to end this war. He made a swift turn and she followed through. The got to a huge mahogany wooden door. The office spelt out luxury and elegance. The walls were made up of rich deep brown wood paneling with soft, warm lightening scones. The floor was a polished ply wood with a thick but soft rug in the middle. It has large floor to ceiling windows with purple curtains looking like silk, sheer flowing drapes underneath. A study leather upholstered executive desk, a high purple back leather chair. A high built in shelves stood well with books in it. In front of the desk on both sides held purple sofas with pillows, a chair in front of the desk.

At this point she was stunned, he mouth hung open. Never had she even seen such luxury.

"Amazed wife?"

It was at this point she knew she was alone . The voice was cool and husky. He walked over to her side. She inhaled the sweet aquatic, floral and woody scent. She had no idea when she took a lung full of his scent.

He walked up to her. His eyes full of joy and amazement. She really came back.
Guilt crossed uis face as he remembered the moment he spent with Addison.

"Welcome home" the words were caught on his throat as she swiftly wrapped her hands around his neck.

"Home? Home, you say" she scoffed

"My home was destroyed" she said seething with anger. His face remained neutral, he wasn't struggling, he wasn't finding it difficult to breath, he looked rather.. calm

Then she realized he's also immortal and dropped her hand and exhaled
"Am sorry" he began
She shot him a glare
"I should have come for you, but I had no idea where you were"

Confusion

That's when it hit her again. Her coming here felt like Theresa return to her home like. She and Theresa shared the same face but slight difference.
Damn he was gorgeous.

"What's with the uniform?" His voice out lazy and husky stirring something in her. His voice came in with his strong accent. So British.

She fumbled on her words, something was different. Her chest constricted.

Language Sam, it has to be British. The voice spoke again

"Your people.." she dragged

"Our people" he interjected

"No! Your people are causing trouble in the other word" her voice boomed in the empty room, her fingers crossed beside her, giving herself a silent prayer that she didn't give herself away

His brows furrowed in confusion
"Elodie darling, be calm. I just found you and wound want to lose you again" he stretched to touch her.

She flinched, she felt sparks. Something she was scared about.
