Nezu POV

Away just gone as if he had never existed. Since he had run away, he has not returned. Just disappeared. I was informed very late that he did no longer returned to the dorms. More precisely, I was informed the next day when half of the day had already passed. He was nowhere to be found at school. All his things are still exactly where they were.

I immediately checked the cameras and he was not even near UA where did he probably spent the night if he survived. It's very cold. I immediately sent several heroes to look for him without a trace though his father was also clueless and I didn't bother asking his mother that was out of the picture. The whole city was silent and nothing was found except for two red shoes on a roof in a abandoned area.

The moment I heard that his shoes had been found on a roof made my blood freeze. I know how quirkless children are treated I know what happens to them and what they do to put an end to the pain. The only thing that gave me hope that he was still alive was that no body or blood was found. I wanted to question his classmates, but if I think about it that none of them had noticed that he was gone and it was actually Hound dog who was used as a substitute teacher, I let it be.

That's why I talked to Recovery Girl about it. I hadn't told anyone that Midoriya's shoes were found on a roof and not that he had disappeared without a trace, everyone only knows that he's gone. I tried not to cause much stir and only hire heroes who don't work at school to look for him.

Recovery Girl: What is it? You haven't talked about world domination, laughed scary or done your creepy stuff for a whole week. And that's literally more than half of your personality.

Me: That is not true. Is is my hole personality. Sigh... A student disappeared without a trace. For over a week.

Recovery Girl: What?! For a week and you didn't say anything. You have to do something, anything could have happened

Me: It was Midoriya. His shoes were found on a roof in a abandoned area.

Recovery Girl: Oh my. Is he... is he still alive...

Me: I don't know. I really don't know. His body was not found. I wanted to ask if you noticed anything about him, he came here constantly injured after training. Maybe he said or did something that might give the impression that he tried to... jump

Recovery Girl: I've not seen him since Aizawa, Kayama and Yamada have left maybe he came two tree times but not that often anymore.

Me: Did I hear right?

Recovery Girl: You were so focussed on disappearing from the three and finding a loophole that doesn't make them illegal villains that you didn't notice. He hadn't even been to lunch anymore Lunch Rusch told me that it's been a while since he last saw him.

That makes everything worse and more complicated.

Me: Do you know if he was hurt and just didn't go or just didn't hurt himself.

Recovery Girl: I really don't know. You should ask his classmates

Me: You know that, Midoriya hurt herself a lot. Did you notice anything when you were with him?

Iida: He hurt himself many times he always had bumps and limped slightly. He was also very tired and often leaned against the wall. And incredibly pale. He also seemed to be thinner and thinner.
