"are you gonna marry, kiss, or kill me?"
Exhausted. That's how you felt after only one and a half days being back home.
You had been swamped with even more work to take back to Japan with you, and it was safe to say that this was the most exhausted you had felt in a while.
Plus, Marley was still trying to convince you to go on a date with Midoriya.
No matter how many times you tried telling her that you were not going to go on a date with one of your coworkers.
You were back in your house, packing up your suitcase while Marley scrolled through her phone on your bed.
"(y/n)?" She calls, getting your attention and making you look up at her from your spot on the floor, "What if I just move to Japan with you? I could drive you around, give you some company, and-"
"Are you kidding? You don't need any reason to move in with me, sweetheart. I've practically been waiting for you to ask me!"
She looks at you, surprised that you agreed, "Really?! You're the best, baby! I'll go to my house and start packing right now!"
In the blink of an eye, she was out of your bedroom and out of the house just as quickly.
Originally, you did want to ask her to come with you, but you got too scared to ask in the fear that she would say no.
You simply shake your head, laughing to yourself as you hear her start up the car and pull out of the driveway.
Why wouldn't you let your best friend move in with you? Your house was more than big enough for the two of you, and you had plenty of bedrooms that she could choose from.
Within the next thirteen hours of your life, you and Marley finished packing, got on a plane, and got back to your house in Japan.
"I'm so excited, (y/n)!" She exclaims, holding tightly onto your hand as she practically drags you to your front door. "We're gonna have so much fun together! We can have girl nights every single night when you get home, and we can do all sorts of other stuff, like..."
While she continued rambling on and on about everything you could do together now that she was moving in with you, you took your key out of your purse, unlocking and opening the door.
"You can pick any room you want." You tell her, dragging your suitcase into the house and setting your purse down on the kitchen counter. "Mine is the last room on the right when you go upstairs, so anything else is up for grabs."
"Okay, thanks babe!" She says, running upstairs and somehow taking her bags up all in one trip.
The rest of her things like any furniture or items that couldn't fit into her suitcases would be shipped to the house by tomorrow, only because you took it upon yourself to pay for her to have next-day delivery.
Thirty dollars was nothing, and it's not like it was going to even come close to putting a dent in your bank account.
You go upstairs behind her, bringing your suitcase into your room and immediately getting changed into a pair of silk pajamas.
"Mar, you good in there? You need any help?" You ask, walking out of your room and into the room down the hall that she picked out.
She looks over her shoulder at you, a huge smile on her face, "Nope! I already finished unpacking. Now, let's go do something. I'm in the mood to bake, what about you?"
"Okay, wait, how the hell did you finish unpacking already?" You question, looking at your friend in disbelief, "You haven't even been here for a whole ten minutes, how did you already finish?"
"I had everything organized in my bags so that I could just take it out and put it where I wanted it. Smart, right?"
Okay, you had to admit it. Her idea was genius.
She was, in the nicest way possible, not that smart at times.
With how quickly she packed her bags earlier, you just assumed that she threw everything into her bags so she could move in with you quicker.
"Yeah, it was a smart idea." You say, walking out of her room with her following close behind you, "About the whole baking thing. What were you thinking of making?"
"Cookies! Wait, no. Brownies! No, you know what we should make?"
"Cinnamon rolls?"
"How'd you know?" She asks, following you into the kitchen.
You take out the dough from the fridge, along with the cinnamon and rolling pink from the cabinets, "I know you, and I know that cinnamon rolls are your favorite food."
"Okay, that's fair." She says, looking over and noticing the speaker in the corner, "Can I play some music while we bake?"
"Sure, just connect to the speaker and you can play whatever you want."
As soon as she started her music, the two of you got to baking.
It was only April, yet you were already baking what you considered to be an autumn food.
You spent your night baking, dancing around to her music, everything that she wanted to do that came to her mind at the moment.
Nobody except for you two knew that she moved in with you, and she for some reason thought it to be a good idea to post about how she moved in with one of the most famous people in the world.
Again, she was most definitely not very smart at times.
You knew as soon as she posted about it that it was all you were going to hear about tomorrow when you went to work.
Which, she also told you she would drive you to work. Not that you didn't love her or anything, actually, it was the exact opposite.
You wanted her to stay out of view from the paparazzi for her own good.
