The morning of the wedding dawned bright and beautiful. The sky was a clear blue, and the air had the crisp freshness of spring. Winter’s house was a whirlwind of activity—her mother fussed over last-minute details, bridesmaids chatted excitedly as they got their hair and makeup done, and the sound of laughter and nervous energy filled the room.

Winter, however, sat quietly in front of the mirror, staring at her reflection. Her white dress, elegant and flowing, hugged her figure perfectly, and her hair was styled in loose waves. She looked every bit the beautiful bride, but inside, her heart raced with nervous anticipation.

“Winter, you’re stunning!” her best friend, Ryujin, gushed as she walked over. “Seriously, Jimin is going to lose it when he sees you.”

Winter smiled, but it didn’t quite reach her eyes. “Thanks, Ryujin.”

Ryujin tilted her head, noticing the subtle tension in Winter’s posture. “Hey, are you okay? You’ve been really quiet this morning.”

Winter took a deep breath, her hands fidgeting with the lace of her dress. “Yeah, I’m just… nervous, I guess.”

Ryujin sat down beside her, taking her hand. “That’s normal. It’s your wedding day, after all. But you and Jimin are solid. You’ve got this.”

Winter nodded, grateful for her friend’s support, but deep down, there was a part of her that still felt unsettled. It wasn’t doubt—it was more like the weight of everything, the enormity of what they were about to do, pressing down on her.

Jimin: The Waiting Game

Across town, Jimin was going through his own set of pre-wedding nerves. His groomsmen were doing their best to keep things light, cracking jokes and trying to distract him, but Jimin couldn’t shake the anxious feeling in his chest. He kept glancing at the clock, counting down the minutes until he would see Winter walking down the aisle.

“You ready for this, man?” Taeyang asked, clapping Jimin on the shoulder.

Jimin forced a smile. “Yeah. Just… nervous, I guess.”

Taeyang chuckled. “That’s normal. I mean, you’re getting married today. But you and Winter? You guys are meant to be. This is just the beginning.”

Jimin nodded, appreciating the words, but his mind was racing. He loved Winter—there was no doubt about that. But standing on the edge of such a huge commitment was terrifying in a way he hadn’t expected.

His phone buzzed, and when he glanced down, he saw a message from Winter.

Winter: Can’t believe it’s happening today. See you soon ❤️

Jimin smiled, feeling a wave of warmth wash over him. She was nervous too, but she was there. She was with him in this, and that was all he needed.

At the Venue: The Ceremony Begins

The wedding venue was breathtaking. The garden Winter’s mother had chosen was in full bloom, with flowers in every shade of pink and white lining the aisle. The guests had gathered, filling the chairs and chatting quietly as they waited for the ceremony to begin.

Winter stood just behind the door, her heart pounding in her chest. Her father stood beside her, ready to walk her down the aisle, and her bridesmaids were already in place, waiting for the signal to begin.

“Ready, sweetie?” her father asked, his voice gentle.

Winter took a deep breath, her hands clutching her bouquet tightly. “Yeah. I’m ready.”

The music began to play, and the doors slowly opened. Winter stepped forward, her eyes scanning the crowd until they landed on Jimin, standing at the altar, waiting for her.

As their eyes met, all the nerves, all the anxiety, melted away. In that moment, it was just them—Winter and Jimin. Everything else faded into the background.

With each step down the aisle, Winter’s heart steadied. This was right. This was where she was supposed to be. And when she finally reached Jimin, his hand taking hers, the world felt perfectly aligned.

“You look beautiful,” Jimin whispered, his voice thick with emotion.

Winter smiled up at him, her heart full. “And you look perfect.”

The Vows: A Promise of Forever

The ceremony began, and the officiant spoke warmly about love and commitment. But Winter barely heard the words—her entire focus was on Jimin, on the way his eyes never left hers, on the way his hand felt warm and reassuring in hers.

When it was time for the vows, Jimin took a deep breath, his voice steady despite the emotion in his eyes.

“Winter,” he began, his gaze never wavering, “from the moment I met you, I knew you were special. You’ve been my best friend, my partner, and the person I want to spend the rest of my life with. I promise to love you, to support you, and to be by your side no matter what life throws our way. Today, I’m not just marrying you—I’m choosing you, every day, for the rest of my life.”

Winter blinked back tears, her heart swelling with love. When it was her turn, she spoke softly, her voice trembling slightly.

“Jimin,” she began, her eyes locked on his, “you’ve been my rock, my safe place, and my greatest love. You’ve shown me what it means to be loved unconditionally, and I can’t imagine my life without you. Today, I promise to stand by your side, to support you in all your dreams, and to love you with everything I have. You’re my home, Jimin, and I choose you—forever.”

By the time they exchanged rings, there wasn’t a dry eye in the audience. The love between them was palpable, and as the officiant pronounced them husband and wife, the crowd erupted in applause.

Jimin leaned in, his forehead resting against Winter’s. “We did it,” he whispered, his voice filled with awe.

Winter smiled, tears of joy sparkling in her eyes. “Yeah. We really did.”

And as Jimin kissed her—soft, sweet, and full of promise—their future stretched out before them, filled with the promise of forever.

The Reception: A Night to Remember

The reception was a blur of laughter, dancing, and heartfelt speeches. Winter and Jimin barely left each other’s side, their hands intertwined as they celebrated with their closest friends and family.

Winter’s mother gave a tearful speech, talking about how proud she was of her daughter and how much she had grown. Jimin’s father spoke warmly about how lucky Jimin was to have found someone like Winter, and how they were both destined for a lifetime of happiness.

As the night wore on, Winter and Jimin found themselves standing under the stars, away from the crowd, just the two of them.

“This day has been perfect,” Winter said softly, leaning into Jimin’s embrace.

Jimin smiled, kissing the top of her head. “It really has. I couldn’t have asked for anything better.”

Winter tilted her head up to look at him, her heart full of love. “I’m so glad we did this.”

Jimin nodded, his hand gently brushing her cheek. “Me too. And you know what? This is just the beginning.”

Winter smiled, her eyes shining with happiness. “Yeah. Just the beginning.”
