Evolution Theory: Dino Jurassic Squad

   "What do we do?" The first man asked, terrified as the dinosaur didn't even seem remotely scared of them. Which was kind of amusing for Brooklynn. But she just watched the situation unfold.
   "What do you think, dumbass? We tranquillize it." The second man answered in his own typical mocking voice.
Although the carnivore seemed to understand what it was about to do as it's eyes followed the first man's movements. Watching as he raised his rifle at the dinosaur, his hands evidently shaking as he did so. But the large dinosaur sharply inhaled all of the sudden, and then let out a thunderous roar in the direction of the first man.
   If Brooklynn had to describe the sound, it was almost like the roar of the Indominus Rex from Isla Nublar, but if it sounded more natural and more rumbling. But it also stirred some kind of fear in Brooklynn she couldn't understand why. She remembered a bit about the Indominus, but she didn't remember much other then what it sounded like. So she didn't understand why her body was suddenly telling her to run. But she obviously couldn't due to her being stuck in the trailer.

   As in the meantime, the man the theropod had roared at screamed in terror, sounding almost like a little girl as he dropped his tranquilizer rifle. With it clattering to the ground loudly as the man ran for it. Hiding on the other side of his truck.
   "Get back here you coward!" The second man roared. Drawing the theropod's attention to him.
   With it turning its large head to look at him. With it letting out a low growl as it stepped towards him, and the man held his cattle prod tight before charging at the tranquilizer rifle, to obviously us it against the dinosaur. In a very brave, but very stupid move as somehow, it was like the dinosaur knew what the man was doing.
   Although Brooklynn got to see its eyes for the first time, as they were human-like, just like her's were. But they were an icy blue shade instead of Brooklynn's green. Which was almost creepy to look at, especially since it locked eyes with her as it turned its large body. However, her attention went right back to the second man as the tail of the dinosaur suddenly smacked into him. A heavy thud being heard as the dinosaur's powerful and massive tail made contact with his body.

   The impact making the second man fly backwards a good distance. Colliding with the thick trunk of a nearby tree. Where Brooklynn heard the sound of something snapping and the man falling limp to the ground. An odor that Brooklynn could only describe as death wafting into her nostrils. Making her realize that the dinosaur had killed the man.
   Although his colleague, who Brooklynn could smell the fear of was currently hiding beneath the trailer. She could see the dinosaur's nostrils flare as it sniffed the air. Presumably taking in the man's scent, as it began to walk around the trailer. Trying to find where the cowering man was exactly as it lowered its head and looked underneath the trailer. However, it appeared he had moved from where he was hiding.
   As Brooklynn could see him approach the back end of her trailer and then disappear from her sight. Although that sound was followed by a loud buzzing out and the loading ramp of the trailer moving downwards and opening. Brooklynn assumed that the man had let her out in order to fight the other dinosaur. But she didn't plan on doing it, especially since it was much larger then her, and also because she barely knew how to walk, so she wasn't going to fight another dinosaur.
   Especially one that was much larger and scarier looking then she was. So she stayed where she was. Almost like she was too chicken to move, which in all honestly she was. But even if she wasn't, she was likely going to just run for the trees instead. 

   Seeing that she wasn't going to do anything pissed the man off, but he then started to run as the other dinosaur had heard the loading ramp open and then moved to investigate. With it following the man as he hurried and tried to get inside his truck. 
   Brooklynn could watch as he tried to get inside, only to be bitten on the leg and pulled away from the vehicle. With the man screaming out in terror the entire time as the dinosaur pulled him away. Before suddenly getting slammed down to the ground, with him screaming out in pain with the sound of bones breaking as the other dinosaur released its jaws from around his leg and then pressed its foot down on his back. 
   With a sickening sound of flesh being squished. The man went quiet as blood pooled from his mouth and body as he had been crushed to death. The dinosaur letting out a soft growling sound as it stared down at him, although it turned its attention to Brooklynn and stomped towards her. As it stopped right before the trailer, and their eyes locked as they stared at each other. 

    "Are you with them?" The dinosaur asked in a male voice as it stared at her from the bars of the trailer that kept them separated. With Brooklynn realizing that it was like her. A person turned into a dinosaur. But Brooklynn paused in her thoughts for a moment before answering.
   "If I say yes are you going to kill me?" Brooklynn answered as she stared back. 
   "Depends." The dinosaur responded. "You don't look so attached to them if you are." 
   "Then I guess I'm not." She replied. 

   Although their conversation was disrupted by the sound of what appeared to be another semi truck approaching the scene. Along with what appeared to be a pair of modified pickup trucks. Which were all a deep red and black color, they for sure weren't DPW vehicles. 
   The other dinosaur then suddenly turned away, beginning to walk off back into the forest from whence it came without saying another word to Brooklynn. 

   "Hey- where are you going?" Brooklynn then asked, watching him walk off. 
   "Isn't it obvious?" He answered, looking over his shoulder at Brooklynn as he walked off still. 
   "Your just leaving me?" Brooklynn asked. "Aren't you going to fight those guys?" 

   She was referring to the vehicles that were still approaching. As they were getting closer and closer by the moment. 

   "Nope." Was all he answered with as he kept walking off. 
   Brooklynn could feel her patience with the dinosaur, but she really didn't want to stay back and deal with whoever these people were. So she hurried out of the trailer and after the other dinosaur to the best of her abilities. 

   "Wait for me!" She echoed, chasing after him as he disappeared into the undergrowth of the foliage. With Brooklynn chasing after him. 
   But it was clearly evident that he however wasn't going to wait for her.

   Back at the sight the larger dinosaur had left, the two pickup trucks came to a soft halt, and a man in a full body dark tactical gear armor stepped out of his vehicle with a few others who wore the same type of tactical gear. But his had a cartoonish looking Sauropod dinosaur of some kind on the side of his helmet. As they looked around to see the chaos that had been caused
   "Mister Veloci isn't going to be happy about this." One of the men muttered out. "What should we do, Peter?" 
   "We tell him we found the Olivo, and that he's not alone." Peter answered. "But we're going to need more then just what we have now to bring them in now." 
   "Like what?" The man then asked. 

   "Our own Chimeras." Peter answered simply as he looked down at the footprints left by the two dinosaurs that led into the foliage.

Yep, it's official, this is a sequel to DJS: Trespasser, but this also de-canonizes DJS: Resurgence and Dominion since they don't really work with what I'm going with. But I hoped you guys liked this chapter, and are ready to see more of Victor Veloci and his cronies.
