Sky and I have been friends for 10 years now. I used to be made fun of in 2nd and 3rd grade for being friends with a girl. Then starting in 4th, I got praised for it. Every guy was asking me weird questions about a relationship with her, and well, I didn't know what to do. All I said was no she's my best friend and then I'd walk away. Her and I hung out everyday after school, soon enough, everything that the guys were saying started going through my head. I'd watch her play basketball with the hoop in my yard and I don't know. The guys always said how pretty she is, and how since I'm so close to her I should go for it. I was never into her that way though. Not until that day anyway.
I got up and started to play one-on-one with her. She'd be looking into my eyes and making me laugh so hard. She was saying stupid sh*t like-
"Oh oh! I took the ball! Whatcha gonna do about it?! Huh huh whatcha gonna do? You gonna go cheer for me on the side while I score a TOUCH DOWNNNN!!" -
She plays basketball so the touchdown made me fall to the floor laughing. I started liking her. I didn't do anything though,I was smart enough to know it might ruin the friendship. Also, I thought it was something I'd get over. Just a stupid crush on a friend. They're normal right?
Well, it's 5 years later, and I'm not over it.
