Sky:
I was walking home and could not stop thinking about what just happened. I cannot believe I did that, I can't believe he did. This is not going to change anything. I refuse to let this one stupid day change our friendship. I love him too but, I don't think it's that way.

The next day at school I just walked up to him like normal. I tried to get things back to how they were but it was awkward. I'd try to talk about things but all I could think of was yesterday. The whole time he just sat in silence looking upset. Finally he said something.
"Sky, I'm sorry. For everything. I don't know why I did all that. I'm sorry."
"Jay ... I umm ... I don't know what to say. I mean ... I don't know what I mean. I'm sorry too."
"You don't need to be Sky."
"Jay, quit beating yourself up about it. It's fine okay?"
"Fine."
I kind of started falling for him to be honest. I just don't want to admit it. I don't want to date my best friend. It might ruin everything. No. I can't.

After school we started texting. Somewhere around 3 in the morning he decided to randomly text me. It went something like..
"Hey Sky, are you up?"
"Hey Jay, what's up???"
"I uhh... I can't sleep."
"Why what's wrong?"
"I need to ask you something..."
"Ok, shoot."
"Sky, don't get weirded out or awkward. If you don't want to I never asked ok?"
"O-k??????"
"Sky...."
"...."
"Will you go out with me??"
