His usual mocking smile reappeared on his face.

Nicolae: "Let's have breakfast and then we'll divide the tasks."

Lorie was so full of joy.

Nicolae reached out and took the jug. Then he took some glasses that were on a tray, poured the red liquid into four glasses and then placed them in front of his brothers.

Once breakfast was finished, Nicolae got up and said: "I'll go get the decorations from the cellar, I'll do it in a moment. Wait for me in the great hall."

The other brothers nodded and headed there. Nicolae returned with large brown cloth bags in his hands and carried them to the center of the room.

Nicolae: "So, little Lorie and I will take care of decorating the house and also the outside. Peter will take care of the lights inside the house while Drogo will take care of the outside ones. Please, don't forget the back part of the manor and Lorie's playground."

Peter nodded but Drogo moved his gaze to the side, annoyed. Despite this, he moved according to the orders he received.

The morning quickly went by and lunch time arrived soon. All the brothers had completed their tasks and returned back to the great hall. Drogo: "Nicolae, now that I'm done with this, can I go to my room and peacefully have lunch?"

Peter: "I would also like to go to my room: I would like to try playing a new piece I just composed for Christmas"

Nicolae replied: "Okay, go ahead. Each of us will have lunch in our respective rooms. I will take Lorie to her room and, after her lunch, I will help her take a bath. Afterwards one of you two will have to relieve me: I also have urgent work to do."

The brothers nodded and within seconds disappeared from the room. Nicolae got up from the sofa and took the little girl by the hand, leading her to the latter's room.

Once in the room, Lorie started playing with her dolls on her large bed and Nicolae took the opportunity to go into the bathroom to prepare the tub for her.

Nicolae: "Lorie, everything is ready. Come on, be a good girl and go take your bath." He looked at her with a sweet look and added: "When you're done, I'll bring your lunch to your room."

The little girl looked at him smiling and then headed to the bathroom, humming. She made no objection to her elder brother's words.

Little Lorie, having gone out to the bathroom, had already dressed but her hair was still damp. Nicolae entered the room, holding a silver tray. On top of it were a glass and a small jug.

Nicolae said to her: "Lorie, this is for you but dry your hair first. No tantrums."

The little girl snorted and crossed her arms over her chest but then, under Nicolae's stern gaze, she returned to the bathroom and did as she was told.
