Drogo: "But more than worrying about Viktor, you should worry about whether anyone in the town has seen her. Lorie suffers from Viktor's disease, if anyone approaches her, they will immediately notice that she is not human."

The three brothers continued talking. Nicolae started walking back and forth the room and then said: "Can't you think of anything? Did any of you tell her anything that made her go away?"

Peter: "Of course not, Nicolae. We played together as always and our day was no different than usual."

At that moment, Drogo froze.

"Nicolae, maybe I know where little Lorie might be, but don't get angry."

Nicolae frowned and crossed his arms over his chest.

"Drogo, where is Lorie? What did you tell her?"

Drogo: "Well, I may have acidentally told her about the legend..."

Nicolae: "What legend are you talking about?"

Nicolae's gaze became one of pure anger.

Drogo: "The one with the flowers... the vampires' flowers."

It followed a moment of absolute silence: Drogo lowered his head, Nicolae and Peter looked into each other's eyes, with great concern.

Nicolae: "What did you do? I hope it's one of your usual pranks."

Drogo: "No, not this time. I'm so sorry... I didn't want to, I told her everything without thinking about the potential consequences. She wanted me to tell her a good story and at that moment that legend came to mind. I never thought she could go looking for them."

Drogo felt guilty and was very worried.

Nicolae:" Given the gravity of the situation, I would say that we don't have a minute to waste. Let's go find Lorie right away."

Peter: "Well, I'd say start with the forest. Maybe she hasn't found her way to the enchanted field yet."

Drogo: "I really hope you're right, Peter. I hope she failed and you wasn't able to find the main entrance to the flower field."

The three brothers headed to the cellar to stock up on weapons and left from the back door.

Meanwhile, Lorie found herself in front of the entrance of the labyrinth. She took a deep breath to give herself courage. Once inside the labyrinth, she found herself surrounded by lots of greenery, huge and very high hedges, so high that they seemed to touch the sky. In front of her there were three roads, only one of the three led to the exit.

She decided to follow the path she was facing. She walked for a half an hour, she turned left and right several times, along a road that seemed endless. Several times she even felt the earth tremble under her feet. Little Lorie started running with her vampiric speed, fearing of running into some danger.
