Those Eyes,

Those Lies,

I was yours and yet you hurt me,

Now you see what we are meant to be.

Natalia Salvatore was the light of their world. She had beautiful brown hair, and a goofy smile.

She loved to read and listen to music. She had many friends and two overprotective brothers.

She always had… them. Her mates. Elijah Mikaelsona and Klaus Mikaelson. At first she hated Elijah, and now she loved him with all her heart.

She had never really loved Klaus. He had hurt her over and over again, but the feelings for him grew too.

She hated herself for falling in love with the man that hurt her too much.

“Nat,” a voice whispered in her ear.

Natalia slowly opened her eyes, groaning in pain. Her hand went to her neck to rub the soreness. She looked around half awake before her eyes widened.

She sat up immediately only to hit her head on someone's head. She let out a small groan and heard someone else grow. She opened her eyes.

She looked upon the man that she had bumped her head with. She felt her heart stop… the man in front of her was the man she missed the most.

“Elijah!” She pulled him into her arms, but it was hard in the small car.

Elijah chuckled and held onto Natalia tightly. He had got to feel her again after all this time. Though it was only a summer it felt like years. She was okay.

She had to endure Klaus all alone, and Elijah hated Klaus for that. Elijah could feel tears stain his jacket and sighed.

He closed his eyes and inhaled her scent. She was okay.

“H–how?” she questioned, confused while sobbing.

Elijah pulled at her hair so that he could see her face. His hand came from her back to her face. He softly caressed her cheek and wiped away the tears.

“I’m so so sorry I left you,” Elijah confessed. “I never meant it.”

“I–It’s not y–your fault,” she sobbed while holding onto him for dear life.

“I–I would never leave you willingly, baby,” Elijah told her and kissed her forehead. “I love you so much more than you could ever know.”

Natalia let out a small tearful laugh. He was the man that showed her love, the man that had been there for her since the beginning. He never meant to let her down or leave her.
