Retro's POV:
"Well, after that little... 'event', I think we can finally relax." I say, my tail slightly wagging at the thought of relaxation. "Then c'mere, let's relax at home. I'm getting tired of staying at JMA for days at a time." Jay said, lifting me up and holding me. I nuzzle his chest lovingly, and get ready to take off. After a few minutes, we arrived at our house, and when we came in, we were immediately greeted by two bundles of hugs. "Wow, seems like we were missed." I say, picking up Cody and booping him on the nose, earning a giggle. "Hehe, Dad! That tickles!" Cody said, slightly shifting in my grasp. "So, how are our little superstars today?" Jay said, patting Cade's head. "We used your cookbook, and we made some pancakes for you guys using Dada's recipe!" Cody said, pointing towards the kitchen. "...what?" I asked, my voice full of concern. I rushed to the kitchen immediately, and to my surprise, there was nothing burnt. In fact, there was a stack of perfectly made pancakes. "Oh, you actually followed the recipe perfectly! So, I guess this means breakfast for dinner?" Jay asked. "Yeah, just let me cook some eggs, and do you guys want bacon or sausages?" I asked, looking to the kids. "Bacon!" They both said at the same time. "Alright, I'll make it since I know cooking isn't always your forte." I said, slightly nuzzling Jay's cheek as a sign of affection.
