"So tell me when you hear my heart stop, you're the only one that knows. Tell me when you hear my silence. There's a possibility I wouldn't know."  - Lykke Li, Possibility

I could feel my head bounce lightly against a soft shoulder. I could slightly hear muffled voices as I attempted to squirm away from the noise.

"I think she's waking up." The shoulder under my head vibrated, I recognized Embry's voice immediately. That must be whose shoulder I took a nap on. What a weird dream I had.

"Lilah?" Bella said as she shook my shoulder lightly.

"Lilah, it's time to wake up." Bella tried again. This time her attempt worked as I slowly pried my eyes open, before closing them again with a groan. I was expecting to be in Jacob's shop with that old Aztec printed blanket around my shoulders. But I was in Bella's truck. Embry on the drivers side, looking at me with concerned eyes and Bella on the other rubbing my hand comfortingly. That's when everything came back to me. Humans, wolfs, Bella, Jacob is a wolf, Embry is a wolf, humans are turning into wolves. Looking over towards Embry with wide eyes as I tried to cower myself into the truck seat behind me.

"Lilah, we won't hurt you. I promise, just please give us a chance to show you because this will be your life now." What the heck does he mean this will be my life? Before I could ask the truck stopped in front of a cozy looking house. Flower pots covered the porch, almost all of them were filled with marigolds. I love flowers. I loved the concept of watering them and watching them bloom into something beautiful.

"Hey guys, about Emily Sam's fiancé, don't stare, it bugs Sam." Embry said as he opened the door for me. I smiled at him when he held my arm gently so I wouldn't fall. I stumbled slightly as the other guy, whose name I found out was Jared, jumped out of the back of the truck. Why on earth would I stare? I think every person is beautiful in their own way besides we're all made unique.

"Why would we..." Bella began to ask but stopped noticing to guys were already heading towards the front door.

The smell of blueberries muffins hit me as soon as I walked through the door. The house was small but incredibly cozy. It had dark wood undertones paired with inviting warm colors. Next to the kitchen island a woman stood. She had long black hair and was tall and slender.

"Are you guys hungry, like I even have to ask." She said in a motherly voice as she was prying muffins off of the baking sheet. When she turned around I understood why Embry said not to stare. Three long jagged scars stretched across her face, from her hair line to her chin. They slightly twisted her mouth, regardless of it all she was still breathtaking.

"Oh my, you must be Paul's imprint." Emily said as soon as her eyes landed on me. She smiled before walking towards me and embracing me in a hug. I quickly hugged her back.

"Oh, honey you're shaking." She said softy holding me at arms length.

"Emily, she doesn't really know what that means yet." Embry jumped in, saving me.

"It basically means you're his soulmate, his other half, his everything. I think you get it." Jared said as he sat down at the little white table taking a hunk out of the muffin. Embry quickly slapped his arm.

"Dude what the hell." Embry said shaking his head.

"Oh you mean she knew absolutely nothing at all about it." Jared replied looking slightly guilty. Embry sat next to him and put his head in his hand, pinching his brow. I looked around the room with wide eyes as i tried to shrink behind Bella. I just wanted to go home, lay in my bed, and watch a movie.
