My voice echos in my head as a small tear falls down from my eye. My heart breaks as if nothing could heal it...

"You okay, hun?"

I opened my eyes as I gazed back at Rouge who was standing next to me as we both stood on top of a building in a big city at night. I nodded at her.

"Are you sure?" She crossed her arms.

"Yes. I'm sure. Just... thinking" I wiped away the tear and looked at a different direction, trying not to make eye contact with The Bat.

"Are you thinking about her again?" Rouge asked.

I gazed back at her and slowly nodded while my arms were crossed. "Look, I know you miss her, but we have a mission to complete, remember?" She asked.

I nodded "Yes. I remember"

"Good"

We both gazed back down at the city, waiting for the right moment...

A few minutes have passed and suddenly a blue blur was seen speeding across the city. "Well, looks like Blue came to join the party" Rouge grinned. I rolled my eyes. Just great, Faker came, what's next? His stupid friends? I thought.

"We better go before, Faker, gets it before us"

Rouge nodded at me, then she spread her wings out and ran up to the edge of the building. She jumped down and flew up in the sky.

I jumped down as well, along with Rouge. As I began to fall down. I could see my reflection on the windows from the building. I gazed back down to where I was going to land.

I grabbed onto a street light and swing down on the ground as I landed on my feet, standing on the road. The streets were quiet and dark. No one to be seen. Like a ghost town.

I gazed up at Rouge as she flew down and stood next to me again. We both looked around the city. Faker was no longer in our view. "Where is everyone? It's too quiet" Rouge pointed out.

I gazed back at her "come on, Let's go!" I began to walk away.

Rouge started to follow me. We both walked forward on the road. There was no need to hide, no one was here. I gazed back at Rouge. "Are you sure this is the right place?" I asked, she nodded.

"Of course, Hun, you think I would drag us all the way here for nothing?" She did make a good point.

"I guess your right"

"Hun, I'm always right"

I rolled my eyes.

"Don't you roll your eyes at me!"

"Whatever, let's just get the Master Emerald and get out of here" I said as I walked away. Rouge followed me.

As we continue to walk down the road a blue blur zipped right past us. I gazed back at the blur, knowing that it was Faker. I noticed a small green light in Faker's hands. I growled. he's not getting away that easily I thought.

I ran after him with my air shoes around the city. Faker turned his head over his shoulder to gaze back at me. He smirked "Hey! Shadow! Long time no see!" Faker said "here to get the Master Emerald again?"
