Chapter 35:Back In Business

The sun filtered through the large windows of Park Enterprises, casting a warm glow over the office as Jimin, Taehyung, and Jungkook settled back into their usual rhythm. After a week of celebration, laughter, and intimate moments following their wedding, the three were ready to return to work. There was a sense of satisfaction and fulfillment between them as they resumed their respective roles.

Jimin sat at his desk, focused on the pile of paperwork in front of him. A few feet away, Taehyung and Jungkook were stationed at their own desks within the same spacious cabin, diligently catching up on emails and scheduling meetings. Though the office environment was formal, there was an unspoken bond between the three, a warmth and intimacy lingering in the air from their recent time away.

Jungkook leaned over Taehyung's desk, glancing at the screen with a soft smile. "Hyungie has back-to-back meetings today. Should we reschedule his afternoon call?"

Taehyung's lips curved into a small smile as he scrolled through the calendar. "Maybe we should push it to tomorrow. He's got more than enough on his plate today."

Jimin glanced up from his paperwork, listening to their conversation with a fond expression. "What would I do without my babies keeping my life in order?" he teased, leaning back in his chair with a stretch.

"You'd probably be a mess, hyungie," Jungkook replied with a playful grin. "That's why we're here-to make sure that doesn't happen."

Just then, there was a soft knock at the door, and Yeonjun, the company's Financial Manager, entered with a tray of food in hand. His bright smile greeted the trio. "Good morning, boss! I brought you all something to eat. Figured you could use a little extra energy after being out for a week."

Jimin's face lit up with appreciation. "Yeonjun, you're too kind. Thank you." He motioned for him to set the tray down on the coffee table near the seating area of the cabin.

Taehyung and Jungkook exchanged polite smiles with Yeonjun, but as soon as the food was placed on the table, something shifted in the air. The rich aroma of the various dishes filled the office, and instead of being inviting, the scent seemed overpowering.

As Yeonjun left the room, closing the door behind him, Taehyung felt his stomach twist uncomfortably. He pressed a hand to his chest, his expression softening as nausea hit him suddenly.

"Hyungie..." Taehyung's voice was faint as he took a small step back from the table, turning his head away from the food. "I think I need to sit down."

Jungkook, who had been standing beside him, looked equally pale. He placed a hand over his stomach, his face scrunching up in discomfort. "Me too... I feel... dizzy."

Jimin immediately stood up, concern etching into his features as he moved closer to them. "What's wrong? Are you two okay?"

Taehyung lowered himself onto the edge of Jimin's desk, taking deep breaths to settle the nausea. "I don't know... one minute I was fine, and then the smell of the food just hit me all at once."

Jungkook nodded weakly, leaning against the desk beside Taehyung. "It's so strange, hyungie. I've never felt like this before. The scent just overwhelmed me."

Jimin's brows furrowed in concern as he quickly moved to open the windows, allowing fresh air to circulate. "Breathe, both of you. Maybe it's just the adjustment after the week off. Your bodies aren't used to the office air again."

Taehyung smiled faintly, appreciating the concern in Jimin's eyes. "Maybe... but I've never felt this nauseous just from a scent."

Jungkook, though still a little pale, managed a soft smile in Jimin's direction. "We'll be alright, hyungie. Just give us a few minutes."
