Chapter 39:Tender Chaos

Jimin sat at his desk, the soft glow of his laptop illuminating the otherwise dimly lit home office. He was deep in thought, scrolling through financial reports and drafting emails for an upcoming board meeting. His fingers moved swiftly over the keyboard, his expression calm yet focused-a picture of professionalism even in the comfort of their home.

The silence in the room was broken by a gentle knock on the door. Jimin smiled knowingly. "Come in, my darlings"

The door creaked open, revealing Taehyung and Jungkook standing there, their faces a mixture of pouty and apologetic. Taehyung's hands cradled his swollen belly, while Jungkook clutched a blanket close to his tummy, as if providing comfort for their little one.Jimin adores the heavenly sight of his pregnant lover.

"Hyungie," Jungkook murmured, his voice soft and a little whiny. "Are you still working?" Jungkook questions softly.

Jimin chuckled, closing his laptop. "I was, but I have time for my babies now. What's wrong, angels?"

Taehyung shuffled closer, his eyes glistening with unshed tears. "You've been in here for hours, and we missed you" soft pout jutting out, Jimin cooes at his beautiful lover.

Jungkook nodded, his lower lip trembling. "We need cuddles, now" with that famous doe eyes of him, Jungkook mutters the request.Oh how Jimin would die from overload cuteness.

Jimin stood, pulling both of them into his arms without hesitation. "You two always come first" Jimin said as he leaves alll the office works behind.Taehyung and Jungkook are above anything.

The three of them moved to the living room, where Jimin settled onto the couch with Taehyung on one side and Jungkook on the other. The two of them immediately snuggled into his sides, their heads resting on his shoulders.

"Hyungie, you smell nice" Taehyung murmured, his voice muffled against Jimin's chest.

Jungkook let out a soft sigh, his fingers clutching at Jimin's shirt. "I feel better already"

Jimin kissed the top of their heads, his heart swelling with affection. "I'm glad, my loves. You both deserve all the comfort in the world"

As the morning went on, it became clear that Taehyung and Jungkook weren't going to let him out of their sight. Every time he tried to stand, one of them would pull him back down with a soft "Don't go" or "Just a little longer"

Eventually, Jimin gave in completely, dedicating his time to his clingy angels. He held Taehyung's hand as they watched a cooking show and rubbed gentle circles on Jungkook's back when he complained about feeling restless.

By lunchtime, Taehyung's mood had shifted. He sat at the dining table, staring at the plate of food Jimin had prepared. His brow furrowed, and his lips pressed into a thin line.

"What's wrong, darling?" Jimin asked, sitting beside him.

Taehyung's eyes filled with tears as he looked up at Jimin. "I don't want this. I was craving it earlier, but now it smells weird, and I can't eat it"

Jimin reached out, gently brushing a tear from Taehyung's cheek. "That's okay, love.Cravings change,it's nothing to feel bad about. What are you in the mood for now?"

Taehyung hesitated, his voice barely above a whisper. "Pancakes, with whipped cream and strawberries"

Jungkook, who had been sitting quietly, chimed in. "I'll help, hyungie! We can make them together"

Jimin smiled, standing and holding out his hand to Taehyung. "Come on, baby.Let's all make pancakes together"

In the kitchen, Jimin guided Taehyung and Jungkook through the process, letting them mix the batter and decorate their plates. By the time they sat down to eat, Taehyung was smiling again, his earlier distress forgotten.

The peace didn't last long. In the afternoon, Jungkook seemed restless, pacing back and forth in the living room. His hands fidgeted with the hem of his shirt, and his brows were knit together in frustration.

"What's wrong, baby?" Jimin asked, pulling him into a hug.

Jungkook huffed, his voice laced with irritation. "I feel so useless, hyungie. I can't even tie my own shoes without getting out of breath. I hate this" Jungkook said tiredly.

Jimin cupped Jungkook's face, his thumbs gently stroking his cheeks. "You are anything but useless, darling. You're carrying our baby, and that's the most important thing you could ever do" Jimin rubbed his nose against Jungkook's nose.

Jungkook's eyes welled up with tears. "But I want to help you and Taehyung more, I hate feeling like I'm not doing enough."

Taehyung, who had been listening from the couch, spoke up "Bun, you do more than you realize.Just having you here makes everything better."

Jimin nodded, kissing Jungkook's forehead. "Taehyung's right. We're a team, and we'll get through this together. You're not alone in this, my love" Jimin stated firmly.

As the day wound down, the three of them found themselves back on the couch, wrapped in a cocoon of blankets. Jimin held Taehyung in one arm and Jungkook in the other, their earlier conflicts resolved through love and reassurance.

"Hyungie," Taehyung murmured, his voice soft and drowsy. "Thank you for everything today, you always know how to make us feel better" Taehyung held Jimin's hand tightly.

Jungkook nodded, his eyes heavy with sleep. "We don't know what we'd do without you" Jungkook gazes at Jimin's eyes lovingly.

Jimin smiled, his heart full. "You two are my everything, taking care of you is the greatest joy of my life" Jimin caresses their tummy tenderly.

As Taehyung and Jungkook drifted off to sleep, Jimin stayed awake, watching over them with a sense of contentment. No matter how chaotic things got, his love for them would always be enough to see them through.

And so, the night ended with Jimin placing a soft kiss on each of their foreheads, whispering, "Goodnight, my angels. I love you more than anything"
