(Hi, author here, so the rest of the story will be in Darla's first person point of view I hope you like it! :>)When I walked into the room I smelt a very familiar smell. An aroma of Autumn filled my nose.
"It smells good right," a young girl in front of me asked.
I jumped back. It was like she just appeared there.
"Yeah it smells amazing."
"Thank goodness. Someone threw up earlier today good thing it helped take out the smell."
"Oh that's good." It was not good infact. Someone threw up?! Are these workouts that intense? I felt the familiar feeling of regret which wasn't the best.
"Darla, right?"
"Yup that's me." Yup who uses yup?!
"I will be your instructor," she said while reaching her hand out.
I shook her hand.
"What should I call you?" I asked.
"Call me Rose."
"Rose," I muttered under my breath trying it out.
I was still trying to comprehend what was happening. Just yesterday, I was still broke not doing anything to do with spy stuff. In fact I thought that spy's were wanted by the government.
I was so lost in my thoughts that I hadn't realized that Rose was calling me
"Earth to Darla," Rose said while waving her hand in my face.
"Oh sorry."
"It's ok I know you're feeling weird about this job"
How did she know?
"Yeah" Why am I so awkward?! I thought to myself.
"let's go do the practices" she said while she walked to the mats neatly placed on the floor.
The whole place was empty and only had some gym mats, treadmills, and weights. It was also super cold which didn't really help with my nerves.
I awkwardly walked towards her and sat down on one of the mats.
"So we will begin with some stretching" She said while she did a familiar stretch.
I followed."Wonderful" she spoke
"So what we'll be doing today is a test run to see if you need more practice"
A TEST?! That's really bad I think we all know tests are not my strong suit.
"Ok you'll need to be able to get this from me" she pulled out a little blue flag.
Ok this isn't that bad, I think I can do it.
She suddenly started running around the room. I was not prepared for that.
"Catch me if you can!" She yelled.
"Ok it can't be that hard" I muttered to myself.
