Chapter 1 - Unexpected Surprise 💫

Showgrounds is everyone's favorite spot to enjoy the peaceful weather and views. It's SMG4 and SMG3's new home which was an abandoned carnival when the blue meme guardian purchased the property. Now he's living in a beautiful circus theme castle and being next-door neighbor SMG3 in his small coffee shop, Three's Coffee N'Bombs. Time has flown by with new memories every day especially since it's been a wonderful year of Showgrounds with the crew. They constantly create new projects to make everyone happy. For example, the brand new Meme factory next to the coffee shop, Mario's Pizzeria is completely dead and forgotten and there are some lost yet broken carnival rides from the distance.

It's a lovely Sunday afternoon, the birds are chirping and the flowers are blooming. SMG3 is watering his little pumpkin garden next to his home while his little pet Eggdog rolls around the grass and sniffs some little daisies. The purple ex-villain is humming and smiling at his cute growing baby pumpkins with big sparkling red eyes.

"Awwww my babies are growing up! Soon when it's time, I'll use you guys as my marketing products!"

SMG3 laughs at his genius plan and gives a pat on the top of the pumpkins. Eggdog loves the smell of the daisies, plucks one with his little mouth and skips happily toward his favorite human being in the entire Internet Graveyard. The pup makes cute noises to catch SMG3's attention as he turns around and grins.

"For me? Thank you my good boy!"

He rubs his pet's head smoothly, takes the sloppy plant and adjusts the flower behind his ear. Eggdog twirls of joy and barks, saying that his father looks pretty! SMG3 giggles at his pooch's cuteness until the castle front door bursts open like someone kicked the thing down and appears SMG4 with his beloved chubby version of himself as a pet. The blue meme boy holds his child like a mother in front of him and steps outside to admire the fresh air and breeze blowing on his baby soft face.

"Beeg SMG4! Let's go touch grass!"

The chubby bean huffs in response and rolls his little black eyes in annoyance. He wants to go back inside and play Jenga all by myself. SMG4 enjoys the sun shining through his skin when he spots his good friend SMG3 gardening and Eggdog goes back rolling around the ground.

"Hey SMG3! How's your pumpkins?"

SMG3 sees SMG4 walking over to him with Beeg in his arms and a soft smile. He caresses his cheek to wipe out dirt and chuckles.

"My pumpkins are doing good. I'm taking care of them and I can't wait to see them all growing up!"

"Awwww such a big softie coming from you!"

SMG4 giggles while his meme partner blushes, groans as he crosses his arms and looks away like the tsundere that he is.

"Shut up...you baka! I was enjoying my afternoon until I saw your stupid faces!"

Four keeps giggling and smirks playfully, giving a squeeze of his pet.

"Sorry Three but you are stuck with me and my pet!"

"Ugh how unfortunate..."

The boys snicker at their sillinesses. Even since SMG3 moved to the Showgrounds and opened his coffee business, SMG4 was delighted to see his partner changed. To helps him bring customers to his shop and serve them, watches him interact with his friends, goes on a heist to save his sussy notebook from Marty at the casino and notices he and Mario become good friends but mostly partners in crimes. SMG4 is so proud of SMG3's accomplishments and being a part of his success. He snaps out of his thoughts when he looks at the flower around Three's back ear and points at it.

"Where did you get the flower? It looks nice on y-"

Four blushes a bit, he coughs nervously like something was stuck inside of his throat but his voice cracks slightly and tries again.

"I mean it's a nice one! Yeah...that's right..."

Three's eyes widen and touches the delicate flower gently. Their pets witness their parents' tensions, they look at each other with mischievous faces. They definitely can feel the love blossoming between the meme guardians.

"Oh Eggdog gave it to me. He loves giving things as gifts."

Eggdog yaps sweetly and sticks his tongue out with a cute puppy smile. SMG4 squeals at their enclosures and keeps smiling. The dynamic duo are too pure for this world. He wishes his little buddy could care for his owner but he doesn't, just demanding food and always being angry at him.

"Awh that's so cute...Eggdog is so lucky to have you."

SMG3 picks up his little puppy and holds him closer to his chest. Since the loss of Terrance, Three has been taking good care of his pet, pampering and treating him like his life depends on it. He looks over at Four and pets Eggdog gently.

"I'm lucky to have him too..."

SMG4 smiles genuinely at his friend. No matter how often he sees Three being a softie toward his companion or being in denial, his heart melts with his sweetness.

The wholesomeness is over when a portal shows up in front of the meme guardians, two pairs of familiar gloves reach out and grab their pets. Their owners let out a surprised yelp, watching their young boys weep in fear and suck inside the portal. They hug together and whine a lot, holding on to each other while they watch the portal closing slowly.

"MY BOYYY!"

Without hesitation, SMG3 and SMG4 jump onto the floating surface with dried tears on their chubby cheeks. The boys are screaming in despair, being separated because of the space galaxies vibe surrounding them while falling. The stars are brilliant, it's like a starry night sky as the boys stretch their hands to reach out to each other but SMG4 descends more and SMG3 looks shocked.

The purple lad hears his partner's famous wail and the last thing that happens to them, arriving at their destination, is the sensation of short green luscious tickling their noses. Their bodies are numb and land on their stomachs. The temperature decreases after being in a portal for a minute, both of them groaning in pain and shivering from the sudden climate. The environment dims down, the trees are everywhere and creatures ring into their ears with unknown sounds.
