Chapter 6

JAKE 1 month later.

I'se was walking down and I saw Jess's apartment and Race was with me and we were joking.

Jess saw us and signaled for us to go up the fire escape so we did.

Jess smiled and said"hey boys".

Race smiles"hey Jess".

I said"hi Jess".

This big man came up and said"hey race....who's this boy".

I replied"I'm a friend of hers my names Jake I also go by cheese".

The man says"I'm Jess's father but you can call me Dan".

I nod and Jess pulls me into a hug.

I hug back but I'm a bit confused but I hide it.

But I wasn't against it.

She smiled and kissed her dads cheek and asked"can I go hang out with them".

Her dad aka Dan nods and she hops into my arms and I blush and ask"you comfy".

She nods and says"let's go my knight".

I nod and carefully carry her down the stairs of the fire escape.

Race smirks and follows us and jokingly says"what a beautiful couple".

When we arrive to the park she gives me a kiss on the cheek and then I carefully put her down.

I smile.

We just hang and she cuddles with me it's confusing.

Why me not Race....Race is better in every way so why me.....what am I'se thinking we're just friends maybe I'se will be alone forever.

But she did something nuts.....she kissed my neck why holy shit holy shit holy shit I'se  in love I'se in love.

Maybe I guessed wrong....maybe somethings here for me.....maybe San Francisco can wait.
