Okay, I didn't mean to drag the guy. I didn't. But he was walking slowly. I wish I could say "and I just don't have that time." but in reality, that's not true. I hate to say it, but I have all the time in the world. I'm just an impatient person. And besides, people are supposed to say "I don't have time for that." anyways, right? So why wait? We walked into Prices Shouldn't Bite, a store more designed for vampires. It had clothes and supplies for the- holy crap, I don't know what this guy's name is! I whipped towards the dryad, then felt a painful tug. Right. We're linked together with the handcuffs. Owww. I lifted my arms up ( even though I felt the weight of his arm tug down on my wrist) and shook his shoulders.

"Hey! You! What's your name!?" I asked. He said nothing. I shook his shoulders again. Still nothing. He looked like he was currently seething.

"Alright then, have it your way." I huffed and sighed. I turned around and dragged him in the store. Whipping Bessu (I say this once again for good measure. Bessu is my trusty backpack.) off my shoulders was harder than I thought with him linked to me, and his lack of co-operation didn't make things easier, but I managed to do it. I pulled out the wallet and made him plop down on the floor with me. We must have looked stupid, but honestly, we'll be out of here soon, so it really doesn't matter. I rummaged through the wallet and found a delightful amount of Yari and free pass cards. You could literally use them to buy as much as you want for free. They were well worth the cost only if you had three damn carts full of stuff. I dragged the dryad towards an empty clothing aisle and turned towards him.

"Okay, look, you probably hate me. Honestly, I can't blame you. You just met me and you're most likely wondering how long it'll be until I show my "true colors." so you need to listen to me. Now I'm not much of a rules guy, but this rule I'm about to give you is kind of a biggie." His eyes glanced at me for a fraction of a second, then he turned his head away in disgust. Well, we've upgraded from clawing my eyes out to looking at me, so I guess I can't complain.

"When I was younger, I happened to be cursed by a powerful wizard. He also happened to be my brother. I heard from the lady who told me that we were close. But for some reason, he cursed me to love no one. Anyone I love too much ends up dying. My eyes turn red and I end up going savage. Once the person is dead, I end up forgetting about them. All memories of them disappear. And fun fact: Any memories I had before I was seven are completely gone. My earliest memory is my parents corpses, which I couldn't even have the closure of identifying. Then my brother disappeared to some place called Castle of Queerosity. I don't know why he cursed me, but you're along for the ride to find out. The whole reason why I picked you out was to gain Yari and have a buddy with me the whole time. Don't worry, you're a guy. so I shouldn't feel anything mushy for you any time soon. Alright? So if my eyes ever glow red . . . Just kill me, as silly as the red eye thing seems." This got his attention. A small flame of curiosity danced in his eyes, but he quickly put that fire out. We walked through the clothing isles. Although he picked up his pace, I still had to drag him, just . . . Lesser, if that makes sense. I grabbed a cart, thinking it might be useful, and set out a watchful eye for things that caught my attention. I figured it might be useful to upgrade from ol' Bessu and took her off. I set it on the table and prepared for the monstrosity it was about to bring. I know my cloths smelled, but I never really cared before now on how bad it was. I pulled out a string of cloths and wrappers combined. I had to cover my nose, but the dryad hardly looked fazed. I managed to sort through everything until all that was left was my hand gun, my clothes, the pepper spray, a black pocket watch, and Bessu. Three weeks' worth of Dear Diane's Delight cheeseburger wrappers were wadded into a ball. I do love fast food from triple D's. I chucked everything in the trash and stuffed my clothes back in the bag. I side glanced Mr. Mute and found him watching me. Reading the dryads mind, I stated,
