Present

In a flash of movement, a man who could rival the most enchanting women appeared in front of Wei Wuxian, preventing the Zidian from reaching him. His whip flicked out, releasing a flurry of whip snaps that extended like sharp blades. The Zidian was sliced in half, rendered useless against the razor-edged lashes.

The man stood tall, radiating power and grace. His features were flawless, his eyes sharp and intelligent. One look was enough to make even the most confident woman blush. His dark hair was braided neatly, the sleek style enhancing the perfect shape of hisface. It was like he was a character from a fairytale, too perfect to be true.

Yu Ziyuan was visibly surprised by the man's appearance, her gaze flickering over his face and form. "Who are you?" she demanded, a hint of wariness in her tone.

ei Muchen's face betrayed no emotion as he stared at her defiantly. "I am Wei Muchen. First born of Wei Changze and Cangse Sanren, also known as the Yiling Laozu," he answered, his voice cool and even. The room's temperature decreased by his power radiating. Wei ying was still frozen in fear and surprise.
Other's POV
As soon as Wei Muchen introduced himself, the room seemed to freeze for a moment. Nie Huaisang's eyes widened, his fan dropping from his hand with a soft patter against the floor. Jiang Yanli gasped, a hint of a blush coloring her cheeks at the man's beauty. Lan Qiren blinked, suddenly looking stunned. Lan Wangji and Lan Xichen's expressions tensed, their eyes fixed on the newcomer.
Even Nie Mingjue, known for his gruff demeanor, couldn't help but stare, his eyes taking in the tall, elegant figure of Wei Muchen. It was as if the room had been hit by a wave of enchantment, the sheer, almost otherworldly beauty of the Yiling Laozu captivating even the sternest of personalities.
"This is...the Yiling Laozu?" Nie Huaisang's voice finally broke the silence, his tone a mix of wonder and disbelief. "I didn't think he would be so..." He trailed off, unable to find words that could do justice to the man's striking presence.Lan Qiren found himself sharing the Nie heir's bewildered reaction. He had heard many tales about the Yiling Laozu, but none had prepared him for the reality. The man standing in front of them, exuding an aura of quiet power and otherworldly elegance, was like a figure from a legend brought to life.
Lan Wangji and Lan Xichen were no less affected. They stood there silently, their expressions a mix of surprise and an inexplicable admiration. For the first time in a long while, both brothers were at a loss for words, their usual composure momentarily shaken by the arrival of this unexpected, mesmerizing stranger.
Lan Wangji tried to keep his composure, but it was futile when faced with the radiant beauty of Wei Muchen. As he stared at the Yiling Laozu, his thoughts were a torrent of fascination and jealousy. While everyone around him was mesmerized by Wei Muchen's presence, Lan Wangji's eyes were glued to Wei Wuxian, his heart twisting with a mix of emotions he couldn't quite understand
"And how dare you raise your zidian against my brother, woman? "
"Wei ming's inner self ws scared as he thought of his past life with jiangs how the same zidian was used to strike him. How madam yu would look down on him, he promised himself that it won't happen now. He pushed those thoughts away and glared icilyThe room felt chillier, the air almost crackling with power as Wei Muchen spoke, his voice hard and cold.

He met Yu Ziyuan's furious gaze without flinching, his own eyes betraying the hidden fear and anger he felt. The memories of the past, of the zidian being used against him, flashed through his mind, fueling his determination to protect his little brother."How dare you raise your Zidian against my brother," he repeated, his words laced with a barely controlled fury. "Wei Wuxian is my younger brother, and I won't allow anyone, no matter their position, to harm him."

The others in the room were caught off-guard by the sudden drop in temperature and the undercurrent of suppressed anger in Wei Muchen's voice. They all sensed that there was more to his words than what was visible on the surface.
Wei Wuxian was frozen in place, both in fear and surprise. He had never seen his older brother so anger, his usual cheerful attitude completely replaced by a fierce protectiveness. He watched in awe and trepidation, not quite knowing how to react to this new side of Wei Muchen.Wei Muchen was like a completely different person in moments like this. Gone was the cheerful and teasing demeanor that Wei Wuxain had always known. In its place was a fierce and protective warrior, ready to defend his family at any cost.As he stood there, glaring down Yu Ziyuan, Wei Muchen wrestled with his own inner emotions. The memories of his past life with the Jiangs, the way Madam Yu looked down upon him and used Zidian against him, flooded his mind. Yet he pushed them aside, determined that things would be different this time.
Yu Ziyuan sneered at both boys, her eyes narrowing in contempt. "You're both nothing but a pair of weak and insignificant brats. The Yiling Laozu? Bah, what a joke. And you," she turned her gaze upon Wei Muchen, her voice dripping with sarcasm, "the firstborn of Wei Changze and Cangse Sanren. What a waste. Your parents were probably rolling in their graves, seeing what you've become."Wei Wuxian flinched at the cruel words, but Wei Muchen stood his ground, his expression growing colder. He clenched his fists, struggling to keep his anger in check."Weak and insignificant brats, huh?" Wei Muchen snorted in disdain, his voice laced with sarcasm. "Says the woman who can't handle a bit of competition. And the Yiling Laozu a joke? That's rich. You're just scared that I'm a better cultivator than you ever were."

He paused, his eyes narrowing as he met her gaze. "And as for my parents rolling in their graves, at least they had more honor and integrity than you'll ever have."As he spoke, his voice grew more confident, filled with the sharp edge of years of suppressing his true feelings. The room grew even chillier, the temperature dropping further as Wei Muchen's power flared in response to his anger and indignation. The others in the room watched on in a mixture of surprise and fascination. They had never seen someone talk back to Madam Yu in such an insolent way. And Wei Muchen's sudden display of power was nothing short of breathtaking.

Wei Muchen sneered, locking eyes with Lan Qiren. "Anf let's not forget you. Isn't it against Gusu's principles to punish a student mercilessly?"

He paused, raising an eyebrow in challenge. "But here you are, constantly lashing out at my little brother just because he's a bit lively. It's a wonder you're not breaking your own rules."Lan Qiren's face flushed with embarrassment as Wei Muchen called out his hypocrisy. He opened his mouth to protest, but no words came out.

Nie Huaisang snickered behind his fan, clearly enjoying the spectacle. Jiang Yanli hid a small smile, her gaze flickering between her brother and the Gusu Lan elder.Lan Xichen and Lan Wangji could only watch in silence, their faces betraying a hint of unease at the unfolding scene. Even they couldn't deny the validity of Wei Muchen's words. But Wei Muchen wasn't done yet. He turned his gaze to Lan Qiren, his eyes hard. "As the head of the Lan Clan, you should set an example. But all I see is a man who uses his position to bully innocent students and cover up his own flaws."
