Short Bio:
Raad is one of Sam's closet friends in Somniphobia. Raad is a cool and nice guy who gets along with most people. He always defends Sam whenever he's getting picked on. Overall, he doesn't anger easily and he doesn't like conflict. Fun fact, Raad is possibly the youngest or the oldest in the group. Sam mentions they're 17 and in high school, but they celebrate Raad's birthday, meaning he either just turned 17 or 18.

Raad appears in the first story of this book. In this story, Raad and his friends are at the Mega PizzaPlex for his birthday, and they all try to win the MoonDrop Dream Sphere. They manage to win it and take it home. Their intentions with it is so it can help them study. The Moon Sphere makes people fall asleep and then wake up in a whole new world, it's like a hologram hallucination of some sort. The group decides to trade every week. Sam gets is first. Unfortunately, as time goes on, it seems Sam becomes more aggressive, and so he decides to take a break from the sphere and trade it. He goes to Raad's house but he's not home, since that day, Sam took a break from school too, and Raad is still at school. Sam waits for him to come home but can't resist using the sphere one last time. Raad is about to head home when Jules tells him they should go to the PizzaPlex instead. Raad hesitates on it, but then decides Sam could wait a bit longer. He goes to the PizzaPlex with his friends, unaware of Sam's fate.
