Short Bio:
Tate is a co. worker of Grady. Grady doesn't like Tate because of how self centered he is. Tate reminds Grady of his childhood bully, who was Tate's current age at the time. Grady feels he can stand up to Tate though since he's older too now. Tate is in fact, self centered. He is smug too, and thinks he's the best.

In the third story, Tate is working at the construction of the PizzaPlex. Tate tells Grady and Ronan he wants to leave because he has a date. Grady argues with him, saying he doesn't want to work on a Saturday. Eventually, Tate leaves and Grady stays so Ronan decides to leave with Tate. After the horrors that Grady went through, Ronan and Tate go back to the Pizzaplex because Ronan forgot his keys. He finds them but Tate says they should check on Grady. He found out he's working on the Ballora game, and wants to see him trying to squirm through the tubes. When Ronan gets into the room, that Tate entered first, Tate is just looking up and staring. Ronan looks to where he looks and they see Grady as a mangled torn up mess in a tube. Ronan starts to have a panic attack but Tate calms him down. Ronan is surprised that Tate acted nicely to him. Showing Tate may not be so bad. Ronan insists they call for help but Tate says they shouldn't. Tate and Ronan look up at Grady and see him blink. They leave him behind, fear of getting fired. Tate makes a point that if Grady survives this, they'll lose their jobs, and if he doesn't, they'll still lose his jobs. Calling paramedics wouldn't help since if they move his body, he'd likely die. Ronan feels guilty about it, but he can't lose the job, and Tate can't either. Ronan says goodbye to Grady before they both leave.
