Saad.

As I look at her pinned against the wall, his body pinning her in place, a rush of possessiveness washes over me.

I press my body closer to hers, my hands gripping her wrists firmly yet gently. I stare into her wide emerald eyes, watching her struggle.

The conflict evident in her expression.

"This marriage is happening.
No ifs, ands, or buts. You're going to accept it, and we're going to be spending a lot of time together."

I narrow my eyes, my voice calm yet firm. I look at her, my eyes holding her gaze.

She looks at me defiantly, her voice steady despite the vulnerability in her position.
"And if I refuse? What then?"

There's a challenge in her tone, a hint of defiance that only adds to my desire for her.

A smile slowly curves onto my lips. "If you refuse, there will be consequences. And trust me,"

I lean closer, my voice dropping to a low whisper,

"You do not want to find out what those consequences are."

My body presses even firmer against hers, a clear message that
I have no intention of allowing her to refuse me.

She swallows hard, her eyes locking with mine as she finally accepts the reality of our situation.

Her voice is quiet, but resolute,
"I don't have a choice, do I? Our families won't let this go and I can't fight them forever."

Her words are filled with resignation and a hint of acceptance, acknowledging that there's no point in fighting this arranged marriage.

I release her from my grasp, stepping back to give her some space. My voice is measured as I speak,

"Look,I propose a deal:
we'll get married, but we won't interfere in each other's lives. We'll live our own lives without meddling with eachother,"

I pause looking at her intently and then continue speaking.

"no intimate relations, no emotional attachments. We'll be in a name only marriage, nothing more."

I study her reaction, waiting for her response.

She nods slowly, a mixture of relief and uncertainty in her expression.

"Okay. No interference, no emotional attachments. It's just for show, for our families." She looks at me, her eyes betraying a hint of vulnerability.

I grip her wrists gently and lead her back into the hallway where our families are waiting. They all turn to us, their gazes curious and expectant.

I keep a firm hold on her wrists as we approach, a silent gesture that communicates my claim on her.

My dad's eyes rake over us,
his voice filled with an air of satisfaction,

"Well, it seems like you two have sorted out your differences." He glances at me, silently approving of my possessive grip on her wrists.

I nod firmly, my voice confident and authoritative. "We've both agreed to the marriage, and there are no objections." I continue to grip her wrists,my silent way of making it clear to everyone present that she's mine now.
