Chapter 13: Takes a village to defeat a Hedgehog

In Eggman's Lab is every single villain that Sonic and his friends had faced for the past 1 and 1/2 years. "Dr Eggman, why did you call us here?" Barker asked. "All will be revealed in due time, my friends. We're still waiting on one more arrival." Eggman explains. "But I have a noon shift at Meh Burger. If I'm late, I'll never get that minimum wage." Dave says. Everyone then starts whispering to each other in agreement. "Fine, fine. We'll get started. In this room I've gathered a rogues' gallery of the most vile, nefarious, repugnalevolent evildoers..." Eggman was then cut off by Charlie. "Repungnalevolent? Is that a word?" he asked.

"I didn't need to be until we had this much evil in one room. Anyways, you're here because we all have something in common." Eggman states. "A love for fine chesses?" Willy the walrus asked. "Well, yes, but besides that we all share a mutual enemy. Sonic the Hedgehog and his rodent friends. We must stop them before they destroy us all."

Meanwhile at Amy's:

Amy invited the others over to her place to help her build a new shelf. "Thanks for helping me build my Bjornvaalden bookcase. I got it from the foreign build-your-own-furniture store." Amy says. "That's it?" Tails asked. "Oh, you'd be surprised on how much they can fit in one little box." 

"Holy shit." Stella says. "What?" Amy asked. "I am literally looking inside...... and how they actually fuck do they fit all of that in there?" Stella says. "Oh, come on Stella it can't be that much." Sonic says as he walks up the box and opens it. Suddenly a bunch of pieces of wood came flying out and landing on the three boys. "You were saying?"

At Eggman's Lair:

"Mm-mm. These are some fine chesses." Willy says. "But where are the crackers?" Barker asked. "I wanted everything to be perfect! Keep calm, everyone. I'll send Orbot out to the store. Oh! Crisis adverted." Eggman says

"So this is why you call me here?" Says a male voice. Eggman turns around to see Shadow the hedgehog standing there making Eggman drop the charcuterie board and gasps. "Shadow the Hedgehog! Hey look everybody Shadow's, here. I knew those embossed Invitations would impress."

"Who's he?" Asked a weasel. "He's only the second most popular character in the whole canon." Eggman explains. "Let me get you a chair, Mr. Shadow." Eggman runs off and takes Dave's chair and brings it over to Shadow. "I prefer to stand." Shadow says. "Of course. You rogue, you! I like standing too. Everyone, on your feet." Everyone stands and groans. "Where were we? I'll just start at the beginning." Shadow shakes his head.

At Amy's house:

"There are no words, just pictures." Tails, explains as he looks at the instructions with Sonic and Knuckles. "Just like the novel I'm writing" Knuckles says grabbing the instructions. "Good plot, but the characters are all over the place." Stella shakes her head and sighs "This is going to take a while."

Eggman's lair:

"And so, with my superior leadership and your blind loyalty, we'll finally be rid of those meddling muskrats." Eggman finishes explaining and then he looks at Shadow who was standing in the corner. Shadow doesn't say anything at all. 

"Hey, how come you're calling the shots? I'm the best villain here. I spent more time in the pen than all of you combined." Will speaks up. "That just proves you're the best at getting caught." Charlie speaks up. "What we need is an education fellow. An organized leader who knows how to keep hotheads like you under control and can maintain parliamentary procedure." Barker says
