Chapter 3: Circus of Plunders

Amy, Knuckles, and Sticks were all running while Stella was flying above them. "Knuckles flank left." Amy demanded. "I don't take orders from you. You flank left." Knuckles says. "Why must we have discussion every single time?" Amy asked. The 4 stopped as they heard a crashing sound. They turn to see Eggman in an octopus robot. "Behold the awesome power of Octopus-bot." Sonic then comes out of a cave and runs up to one of the tentacles. "Nice to meet you."

He then runs around 3 tentacles making them tie themself up. Amy then runs up the bot and dodges the tentacles but manages to hit one off sending it flying far away. Eggman then goes for sticks, but sticks climb up a few rocks and does a backflip making the tentacle hit the roof of the bot. Eggman takes the tentacle out of the roof then Sonic runs around under the body of the Octopus bot while dodging the tentacles. "This would be a lot easier if you'd stop moving around."

"Can't hear you. Too busy running around your squid-bot." Sonic says. "It's not a squid. It's an Octopus. Can't you tell how the tentacles are related to the head." Eggman says. Then Tails comes in his plane. "Sonic, my Lazer-guided unbolteriser is ready to go. I got a clean shot at Spider-bot."

"It's an octopus. An Octopus!" Eggman shouts. "Tails? Have you even tested it yet?" Stella asked. "Don't worry it'll work." Tails reassures Stella. Tails then aims the Lazer-guided unbolteriser at Eggman's 'Octopus-bot' and shoots, but it ended up bouncing against the canyons walls and hits a pile of boulders and they all come down towards the others. "That's not good." While Stella had her sword hands out and was attacking one of the tentacles, she turns her head and sees the boulders coming. "Incoming!" Stella then flies in up in the air. Sticks manages to jump up onto one rock. "I should've taken that log-rolling class."

Knuckles was punching all of the rocks out of his way. "Keep 'em coming. I can do this all day." That was until he was knocked over by a bigger rock that he can punch in time. "I could use a breather." Tail's Plane then comes down to hit Eggman's 'Octopus-bot', but he was smacked away, and he crashed. "Heh-Heh! How the tide has turned. That's a nautical reference. Cause it's a squid. I mean Octopus. [growls] Great. Now you got me doing it." Eggman complains.

"I mean it is a squid cause of the shape of the head is more of a squid jellyfish hybrid shape." Stella says flying down and she destroys a tentacle. Sonic jumps up onto the 'Octopus-bot' and opens the hatch and rips out a bunch of wires causing it to glitch and break and squirt oil out onto the ground. Then the top of the bot's head comes off. "Next time study your cephalopods before we battle." Eggman the flies off. Tails then comes walking over to his friends. "Guys, I don't know what happened." Then Amy walks up to Tails with a mad look. "I'll tell you. Your Lazer almost turned us into robo-fish food."

"Yeah, and not the delicious flaky kind." Knuckles says. "I'm sorry it malfunction." Tails apologies, but Sticks wasn't having any of it. "Maybe it wasn't a malfunction. Maybe this isn't even Tails. What if he's a sleeper agent? A mole pretending to be fox. A fox mole." Sticks then runs up to Tails trying to rip off his face. Stella flies down to the ground and pulls Sticks off Tails. "Calm down guys it was an honest mistake a-"

"No Stella they're right. Well, except Sticks with that whole fox mole thing. I put you all in danger. I need to go." Tails then runs off and gets into his plane. "Tails, wait" Sonic and Stella say in union. "Tails. You okay buddy? Tails?" Sonic asked Tails through his communicator.

Sonic and Stella both turn to the others. "Seriously guys. Tails made a mistake so what. It's not like you guys haven't made a mistake be-" But Stella was cut off by the sound of a truck horn. I nearly hit them, but it stops just in time. Once it has fully stopped a wolf in a ring master outfit comes out. "Ooh, sorry if I scared you folks. Please accept my most humble apologies."
