As Thunderbirds turns 59 this year, and with the production of the series taking place at the Slough Trading Estate exactly 60 years ago, Century 21 has uncovered film prints from AP Films unveiling new insight into the making of the series. Their findings are being documented in their new series and depict the best approximation as to how the series was originally made under the original 25 minute format.
This month also saw the immensely sad news that David Graham - the last remaining voice artist in the original series passed away on Friday 20th September at the age of 99. Graham will always be treasured as one of the greatest voice artists in the industry, ranging from Grandpa Pig to Daleks and SUPERMARIONATION characters. His legacy as a voice artist touched the lives of millions of viewers across 60 decades of film and TV and will be an unmatched legacy for almost any voice artist.
