Lucy woke up groggy

L- I don't want to go to work todayyyy

Then she got up and went straight to the bathroom as she applied her makeup, she heard Chris get up

L- you going to work?

C- uh yeah

L- aright

Once lucy walked out if the bathroom Chris slapped her

L- ow what the hell Chris!?

C- you promised that you make me breakfast and you never did so go to work you, fat slag

Then he grabbed her arm and pulled her to the floor

L- what the hell Chris!

C- get to work don't be late or else

L- alright alright

Lucy ran out of the apartment in disbelief she couldn't believe Chris could do this that's all lucy thought as she drove to the station as she hoped out of her car, she couldn't stop looking down she was so slow and sad Tim and Angela saw her in car park

T- do you know why she so sad?

A- no, how bout we go ask her

T- good idea

As Tim and Angela walked into the station lucy had already gone to the changing room Angela walked over to the changing room as Tim got left standing in the middle of the lobby

T- what is wrong with her I'm worried

As everyone walked into the roll call room lucy was the last sit down

G- good morning, everyone night shift did their jobs last night so go out there and find some crime and uh also Chen and Bradford stay behind for a special assignment.

T- alright sir

Lucy acted normal but less bubbly for most of the day

L- wonder what's that about

T- yeah same

G- alright so Nyla was working on a case, and they need 2 personal to do it Angela suggested you 2

T- what's the catch?

G- you guys have go under cover as a couple

L- w-why us?

G- I don't know you ask Angela, now get out there

T- alright text me and lucy the details

As Lucy and Tim left the empty roll call room lucy couldn't stop thinking * what will Chris do if I'm late and what would he do if I do go under cover with Tim what will happen? * The rest of the shift Was quite but when they got to the food trucks lucy went quite

L- uh yeah

As they walked over to the benches Tim ordered 2 chicken char wraps and Lucy sat down alone at an empty bench

T- why you sitting there boot?

L- uh I-I don't know

T- come sit with me Angela and Nyla

As lucy came and sat down on the cold bench Nyla mouthed

N- what's wrong with her?

T- I don't know

Lucy sat there head on her arm as she looked at the floor with her left leg shacking like crazy Lucy didn't touch her food at all

A- you gonna eat luce?

Lucy was zoned out she didn't realize that Angela asked her something

N- Lucy?

L- mhm?

A- are you going to eat your wrap?

L- nah I'm not hungry

T- boot you have to eat something.

L- I'm fine leave me alone

then lucy walked over to the shop

N- what's going on with her?

T- I have no clue, but I will eat her wrap

A- Tim!

Then Tim walked over to the driver side on the shop

T- are you okay lucy your usually bubbly and chatty

L- it's nothing can we just finish this shift

T- yes okay okay

Then the shift went by super-fast it was calm peaceful lucy watched as the building's past by as lucy looked out the window feeling the nice cool breeze

*Time skip*

Its end of shift and lucy and Tim just got back to the station lucy is still verry quite as she looked down at her phone, she had a text message from Chris (C- where the hell are you?! I need more beer get some on the way home and if you're not here in 25 minutes you will pay?!) Lucy's mind kept racing *what will he do if I don't get there intime? I hope he doesn't hit me again* as lucy changed her shirt then Nyla spots lucy as her brown hair glowed in the sun rays pushing through the blinds

N- luce you okay you have been down today where's all the bubbly energy?

L- yeah, I'm fine just didn't get enough sleep lats night

N- alright

L- sh!t I'm late

L- I've got to go see ya Nyla
