At the District, Voight was sitting in a room, with the Director of Girls United.
"Director Johnson. So." Voight looking at a file. "You always smack around the young girls under your watch?"
"Are you talking about Charlie Stone? Or just in general?"
"Both. It's Halstead. Not Stone." Voight spoke.
Kevin walked in. "Hey Sarge. Your man Ryan isn't talking."
The Director looked horrified. "You work for him?"
"Yeah, so does Evan, his name is Jay Halstead Charlie's father."
"Oh, god. Um, please can I make a deal, I can give you Ryan on a silver platter."
"I'm listening."
"I want assurances that this Halstead officer won't come after me."
"It's Detective and I promise you he won't be an issue. Now start talking."
*** At the Hospital. ***
Jay pacing the waiting room.
Maggie and Will came out looking for Jay.
"Hey Jay, so we found out the name of the drug, it was Zolpidem." Will saw Jay's face was confused. "Um, the other name is Ambien, thankfully it will dissipate in the next 12-18 hours, so we'll keep her here over night, Jay she'll be fine, thankfully Ambien isn't addictive, so there won't be any long-term effects, she will be dehydrated so I'll get an IV started."
"Thanks man. I don't know what I would've done if it was something serious, obviously I know her being sedated is bad but at least she won't become addicted."
Maggie looking at both men. "I'll get the IV started on Charlie."
"Yeah thanks Maggs'." Waiting for Maggie to leave. "So operation Littlefoot? What did that entail?"
"Kevin, Charlie and myself went undercover at the troubled girls home, we had a case jump off and we found an underage girl raped and killed, so Voight needed a UC and Charlie's background was a treasure trove, so Platt started back logging all of Charlie's dealing with police, creating an arrest record, detention records, and was able to get a Judge to give us the in we needed for Charlie to go in."
"Look you know I trust you completely, but we cannot keep on putting her in danger."
"Yeah I know, which is why I and Kevin went under with her."
*** At the District***
In the interrogation room, Voight and Erin were getting the Director's statement. "Of course you work here as well. So let me guess, that slap was a diversion of some sort?"
"Well that's because your guy Daniel was drugging underage girls, plus all the employees, not sure if they knew about it, but still wrong." Erin calmly explained. "I did what I did to protect my family."
Voight speaking. "Let's get back to the point. Tell us about Ryan."
"Right. Ryan was from one of the many troubled girls homes, I saw in his file, that he had many rape allegations, these girls would say anything, so nobody took it seriously. But I knew something was wrong just before you guys showed up, one of the girls Brianna Summers she wasn't present Friday morning, I was just hoping maybe Ryan signed her out for a day pass, and she ran away, but now that I see that's a picture of Brianna and she's dead, I want that bastard to pay for killing her."
"He also raped her, which he almost did to Charlie, thankfully her father came into her room, when he did."
"Oh, god. I wish I looked deeper into him, before letting him near the girls, please let they know I didn't know what Ryan was capable of, otherwise...." Director Johnson's words drifted to a stop.
"We will, so Ryan's had complaints in his file?"
"Yes, many."
"Thank you." Erin getting up from her chair. "Sargent." Watching Trudy enter. "She confessed to overlooking rape accusations, and now one girl is dead, oh and an accomplice to distribution of narcotic, and rape of a minor, maybe more."
"Wait what are you doing. We had a deal. I talked and I gave you everything on Ryan."
"Actually, we never made a deal, you said I'll talk as long as Detective Halstead doesn't come after you, no deal was made. So now you will sit in holding until your trial, then go to jail."
