Middle of the night Charlie started to wake up newest Doctor Mitchell Ripley was on the night shift, when Charlie woke up.
Charlie in a panic. "Daddy!!! Daddy where are you?"
Ripley heard this and entered the room. "Um, Charlie Halstead right? Hi, I work with your Uncle Will, I can call your dad or uncle for you if you want?" Rip sitting in the chair. "Hi, I'm Mitch I just started like two weeks ago."
"Hi. Um, no let them sleep, I'm okay."
"Well, I was told that you're considered a VIP around here, so whatever you want, you get, okay, just call."
"Yeah, can I get some Jello or ice cream?"
"Coming up."
Mitch called down to the kitchen. "Hey this is Ripley, our VIP would like some Jello and ice cream."
"Yeah we can do that. How's baby Halstead?"
"She's good, awake, obviously."
*** Next Morning.***
Sharon Goodwin came by to see Charlie before going to her office. "Hi, honey, how are you feeling?"
"Ms. Goodwin. I'm good, I'm feeling better then yesterday, do you know if they got the guy from yesterday?"
"Oh, baby yes you did so good, your dad stopped him before he could hurt you, and they have the bad ones in custody, Grandpa is interrogating them right now."
"Good. Um, have you seen my dad or Uncle Will?"
"Uncle Will is walking right now."
Will walked in. "Charlie honey you're awake. When did you wake up?"
"Last night, I talked with Dr. Ripley. He was really nice to me."
"Oh, good I'm glad. I will have to thank him, when I see him. Charlie are you okay?"
"Yes, I'm good." Charlie saw Jay outside. "Dad."
Jay hugged Charlie tightly. "Oh, thank god you're awake. I was so worried about you last night. When did you finally wake up?"
"Last night."
"Did you have one of the doctors call?"
"No, I knew you needed sleep, so I hung out with Dr. Ripley, he's new to the hospital, he told me I was considered a VIP, I had ice cream and Jello last night."
"Well, lets make sure Uncle Will thanks him for us, I'll get the discharge papers started."
"Thank you."
