"mama is up there?" the little girl holding a teddy bear asked her father.
the father smiled. "yes, alice."
the little girl stared into the sky, watching the small dots twinkle. "will mama come back?" she asked curiously.
her father looked down with watery eyes. being in front of his daughter, he stayed strong and held his tears.
"in your dreams, she will come."
the little girl smiled at her father, which quickly turned into a frown as she realized something big. "can i talk to mama outside of my dreams?"
her father stopped to think. he pointed at the dark sky.
"here," he says. "mama is a star now, you can talk to her here."
the little girl gasps in excitement. "will you talk to mama with me?"
he smiles. "of course, ally."

the teenage brunette girl groaned as she felt a vibration on her arm. she stretches her arms out, only for her phone to fall right onto her face. she quietly screams.
"ow..." she managed to let out. she picked up her phone and noticed the time. 7:42 am... she was going to be late! again!
she notices the text messages from her friends on instagram. she opens them as she raises herself from her oh so comfy bed. she felt upset knowing she had to get up.
