alice dropped the handpicked, not fully grown, flowers when she saw her best friend hug her crush.

she felt angry. who did her friend feel like?!

"i'll see you around?"
"yeah! bye!"
"bye!"

alice watched as the boy walked the other way. her best friend turned around a jumped back in surprise.

"alice! were you there the whole time?" she asked

alice faked a smile, keeping her anger in. "no!" she lied. "i was just looking for you."

her friend smiled. "oh ok! i wasn't doing anything important," she blushed.

"oooh, why are you getting shy?" alice teased. she still felt so angry. why did she hug him? why did she take him away?

"hehe, well..." she twirled a strand of hair. "i told heeseung i like him... and he said he likes me too!!"

alice's heart dropped. heeseung... likes her too?

a fake smile appeared on alice's face, despite her eyes watering from her anger.

"that's great, eunhee!"

"ally!" chaewon happily exclaimed. "where's jake? it's home time!"

karina nods in agreement.

"he's just in the washroom," alice said, pointing at the washroom doors.

"is that...?" karina pointed behind alice. all three girls turned around.

alice saw eunhee and sunghoon, again. this time, they were talking and smiling. genuine smiles. they were giggling and laughing. it looked like such a beautiful moment. alice found herself smiling.

though, alice wasn't smiling at both of them— she smiled at sunghoon. when he laughed, he looked like an angel in alice's eyes. he is such a beauty whatever he does, but his laughter made him glow. alice could watch him laugh for hours.

eunhee will make him laugh forever. alice knew she would make sure of it.

"is she wearing his blazer?" karina asked in shock. "ally, you definitely made much progress for them."

"wait, speaking of blazers..." chaewon paused, giving alice a good look. "isn't that jake's?"

chaewon and karina gasped in unison, making alice freeze at the awkwardness.

"oh my gosh," karina pointed. "it is!"

"do you have something to tell us, ally?" chaewon asked.

alice giggled awkwardly, "haha, well-well... it's... uhmm..."

"hey cutie," jake spoke from behind alice, putting a hand on her waist. alice saw the stars in her friends' eyes sparkle much more than they were before jake's presence. alice felt an unsettling feeling in her stomach. did she have to lie to her friends too?

"oh! karina and chaewon!" jake exclaimed. "are you girls ready to go?"

they both nodded.
