Soon after, Matt and the others were lead into  Anya's room. The little girl was sleeping. Matt and Elektra sat  in the chair by their bed. Anya  woke up slowly. She  looked at  her parents and their friends groggily. "Huh?" she asked as she woke up slowly.  Matt leaned over and grabbed her hands gently. "Hey baby," he said quietly. " Daddy?" she asked as her  vision cleared. Matt smiled softly and nodded . " Hi baby,'' he said quietly.  Anya looked around at the others.

"I'm sorry, everyone," she said quietly.  Foggy leaned forward . "Don't be sorry, baby girl," he said gently.  " We're not mad at you, " Matt said gently . " You can't help that you needed surgery," he added gently. He kissed her forehead.  "We're just happy that you are getting better," he added as Elektra leaned over and kissed Anya on her forehead. Her touch was gentle and loving.  She was holding in her tears. Her tears of relief. Relief that her daughter was going to be ok.

She smiled softly at their little girl. "My little Sunshine," she said in a motherly tone of voice. Her touch was gentle and loving. Karen smiled sweetly at the young girl.

Anya looked at her family, smiling softly.  She glanced at her father, seeing how worried  his expression etched all over his face . Her smile faded . " Daddy? Are you ok?" she asked softly .  Matt lifted his head, "I'm fine ," he lied. Anya's face looked worried. "I'm sorry I scared you Daddy,'' She said sadly.  He leaned in and hugged her gently. "I love you," He told  her honestly.  He kissed her forehead gently. " I love you so much," he repeated . He held her gently.  Elektra laid on the other side of their little girl, holding her close and careful to avoid her i.v. Foggy, Karen and Bethany  all sat in chairs in that were around  Anya's bed .

Anya cuddled next to  her mother. She fell asleep in her embrace.  Matt listened to Anya's heart beat. His own emotions still riding high.  He left the room to go and have a moment to himself. He took a deep breath, trying to keep his emotions from bubbling over. But it was becoming too much. He went to  the chapel to have another moment. To have some time to have a moment with God. When he got to the chapel, he took a seat in the pews and silently said his thanks to God for keeping his daughter safe.  For making sure that he still had his little girl.  He was also thankful that God made sure that there were no complications during the surgery. He sat there for a long time, lost in thought. He sat there in the quietness of the Chapel, crying quietly. He let his emotions out, his fears. "Thank you," he mouthed as his head lifted up . " Thank you."

After a few moments, he went back to Anya's room, straightening himself up before he sat down.  Elektra looked up at him. " Where did you go ?" She asked quietly.

"The Chapel," he answered softly.  He reached over and  stroked Anya's hair gently. "Thanking God for saving Anya." He went on. His voice was soft and full  of emotion. He bent down and kissed her on the forehead. "She makes my life worth living," he added. Elektra nodded, her own gaze softening as she looked at their daughter. "I understand that feeling," she said softly.

She smiled  ruefully. " I was so scared that we were going to lose her.  I couldn't think of a future  with out her in it. It hurt heart my heart too much, " she said quietly.  He nodded in understanding. "Mine too," he admitted. He turned and faced their daughter, listening to  the monitors. Listening to their soft beep.
