Third sighed as he taped up the last box and glanced around his now mostly empty room, seeing if he could find anything he missed at the last minute. He heard the crunching of gravel outside and dropped the tape roll on his bed, running downstairs to meet his brother and sort of brother. The front door opened revealing the two boys in the doorway and the large black truck in the driveway.
"P'Laem!" Third let the older boy pull him into his arms with a laugh.
"Hey kid, Forth told me the news. Ready to be a college kid?" Laem ruffled the boy's hair with a smile.
"Honestly, I just want to get to my dorm so I can go back to sleep." Third laughs along with the two.
"Fair enough, lead the way." Forth and Laem followed Third up to his room and helped him start toting boxes down to the truck. Their parents were both at work, and so they were using the day to move Third into his dorm knowing they would have less people to worry about being there. It took them less than an hour to load all of the boxes, and after a quick lunch of Mom's leftover TomYum, they piled into the truck and started the drive to campus.
Laem and Forth had a meeting lined up to plan this year's SOTUS meetings. So after moving all the boxes to Third's room, which was on the floor under Forth's, they both said goodbye and got back into the truck leaving Third to unpack alone.
He put on music and focused on one box at a time. He filled the shelf they had set up with his old sketchbooks, his favorite poetry books, and the fantasy manga he likes to read. His desk was instantly covered in art supplies, note books, sketch books, and his laptop. His bed was made with matching soft grey sheets and comforter with soft blue pillows and a random assortment of teddy bears (most of which Ming actually got him).
He was just placing the last of his clothes into his closet when there was a knock at the door. He closed the door to the closet and kicked the empty box out of the way on his way to the other side of the room. He turned off the music as he opened the door, smiling when Ming was on the other side of the door.
"Hi neighbor, welcome to the neighborhood." Ming joked. Third laughed and moved out of the way to let him in. Ming went and plopped himself right on the bed. Turning the music back on, Third closed the door and went to clean up his desk.
"You get settled in?" He asked the now very comfortable Ming. Ming nodded although Third couldn't see him before speaking.
"I came yesterday so I could help Yo unpack his P'Pha collection." Third snickered at the annoyance in his voice. They both loved Yo dearly, he was practically their brother, but they truly did get a little annoyed over his constant swooning for the older man. The bed squeaked as Ming rolled over to watch Third. After a few minutes of silence Ming groaned. "Take a break."
"Unlike you, I did not come yesterday so I have to finish this box." Third responded, not giving him even a glance. A smile spread across his face as he felt Ming almost materialize behind him, wrapping his arms around his and setting his chin on the smaller's shoulder.
"You have one box left, you can take a break..."
"Exactly I have one box left. You can wait."
"Thiiiird." Ming groaned again. "I'll put the box away for you later if you take a break."
"No you won't cause you know I won't let you do it." Third closed his eyes when Ming pressed a kiss against his neck. "Ming..."
"Take a break..." Ming said softly, pulling him backwards towards the bed. Third gave in, turning in his arms to pull him into a kiss. The kiss was soft at first, both of them just enjoying being in each other's presence. Then Ming's arms tightened slightly around the smaller boy, and Third let him deepen the kiss.
